My First Card (Rate OCG)

It's between good and bad. I say it is a neutral card structure. (Try to be more creative.) Now on to some critique... I see how you asked to rate the OCG so I will, first this is a Synchro. So, add something like this to the top of the effect: "1 Tuner-Type monster + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters". I think I see a few OCG errors so I'll try to help.

Your OCG:

When this card is targeted by the effect of a Spell or Trap card, pay 3 quarters of your Life Points to negate the effect, and Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower monster from your Deck.

My OCG:

When this card is selected by the effect of Spell or Trap Card, pay 1000 Life Points to negate the effect targeting this card, and Special Summon a monster with 4 total Level Stars or less.


Who's seems better. So my OCG rating should be a, 3.1/5.

For the card's structure alone it is... OK.

My rating for the card overall is a, 4.7/5.

As my first card, I completely forgot about the summoning instructions, which is bad because it's so easy to put.
And also, I think 1000 Lifepoints is a bit to much for his effect.

Actually, its pretty decent to pay 1000. some Level 4 monsters have good effects and/or can really change the outcome of battle. overall 7/10. for your first card.

A recolour would help this cards image tremendously. The bright colours look out of place on a blackwing
