Bahamut - Envoy of the End
Not very often I make a boss monster, but this picture was perfect for an archtype that doesn't really have one. Was an absolute nightmare to give this guy the effects I wanted without effects contradicting each other and becoming a jumbled mish-mash. But I think/hope I got it in the end and he seems a strong note to finish off my singles releases for a while, so I can concentrate on Finished Sets. Anyway, enough chat, here is the ruler of the Different Dimension!!! Lore: 1 Tuner-monster + 2 or more non-Tuner 'D.D.' monsters This card begins the duel removed from play. This card cannot be Special Summoned, except by removing from play Synchro Material monsters on the field when you have 10 or more cards removed from play (excluding this card). During your Main Phase, you can Special Summon 1 'D.D. Minion' Token (DARK, Fiend-type, Lv1, ATK 500, DEF 500) in Defence Position. If this card would be destroyed by your opponent's card effect, you can Tribute 1 'D.D. Minion' Token to negate the card's effect and remove it from play. If this card is destroyed, return all cards you have removed from play to the Graveyard. Rate, hate, give guidance, but if you got something to say then say. I don't bite... much
Ghoulish
crazy in a way, the last effect is definately one to get rid of, "Remove all the cards in your Deck." Also u didnt specify where the non tuner monsters have to be in order to be removed. The concept however is a great idea, the D.D. monsters haven't had any progress and its good to see originality like this, however the name, i think change "other world" sseems kinda cheesy in a way but then again i dont have any recommendatins to change it, OCG isn't to bad. it is very stacked with effects so u may want to limit it. Overall the idea itself is a good start, but the effects will need to be changed because this D.D. Scout Planes would be a close to assured win. Bahamut - Envoy of the End
Hmm, good and fair points. Thank you. 1) Summoning - Synchro materials are from on the field, that'll be easy to clear up. 2) Name - Master of the Beyond sound better? 3) Effects - I try to limit to my cards to have 3 effect types max. So at the minute it has summoning conditions, revival (from D.D), negate effects and it's drawback - too many hmm. Want to keep the whole overlord 'summons minions and sacrifices their lives to save his own' theme. Maybe send cards to the Graveyard to negate effects instead, then D.D. Scout Plane revival is stuffed? 4) Drawback - yeah thought that was over the top, but will need something. Life point damage is too bland. How about every card on your field and maybe hand as well? Will edit card later tonight, off to work now. More suggestions in the meantime would help tremendously.
Bahamut - Envoy of the End
Well that was a let-down, and a recurring let-down I might add. Revamped card is up, with clarified summoning, revised drawback, and a brand new Token support effect.
Ghoulish
Ithink that's a better effect, it's more simple and its core effect can be seen, the token effect is a nice touch and regarding the draw back at the end, although it may be harsh but the effect to remove from play cards negated by his effect seems good enough, if i ran a D.D. deck I would put it in there, I also think the name is better now then it was before, overall good job, the editing has helped alot to IMO. Buttercup
Terrible idea with a random gimic. DD needs consistency, not a card that is worse than Eatos. Punitive/ impossible summoning conditions + terrible effect = bad yugimonz..........wait. INFINITE CHUMP BLOCKERS THAT PROTECT YOUR BOSS MONSTER YAY 3/10 Simultaneously broken and unplayable. Some kind of PoC Deck wouldn't even be able to run this because it SS from the RFP zone instead of the Extra.
Bahamut - Envoy of the End
Cheers for the feedback Soul, I try to avoid overusing Tokens and Counters because they get bandied around a bit to easily but I think it works better this way. Wanted to give this a proper 'end game' boss feel, something that the D.D's don't have. Ser WJW: Terrible idea? Random gimic? Guardian Eatos???? Well at least you comment and give me some motivation to get better, although you are coming across as impossible to impress.
RedRuler
Good card, but if want to make it like an 'end game' boss like you said, you should give it an effect that makes things harder to your opponent. And about the final effect, you make it to do something like returning all removed from play monsters to the graveyard, as D.D. decks consists on strategies with removed from play cards. Bahamut - Envoy of the End
Good feedback Hades, I can't really add anymore effects to it, but I've taken your advice on the drawback of sending everything to your Graveyard, hope it works better. Thanks. Soul, thank you for the rep.
