Nightmare Jester

I made these awhile ago, but I wanted to see how they hold up.

[center]If this card would be destroyed by a monster attack, you can pay 1000 Life Points to destroy the attacking monster instead of this card. During your next Standby Phase after this effect is activated, by sending this card to the Graveyard, Special Summon 1 "Nightmare Jester LV5" from your hand or Deck.[/center][/spoiler][/center]

[center]This card cannot declare an attack. If this card was Special Summoned by the effect of "Nightmare Jester LV3", once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can pay 800 Life Points to select 1 face-up monster your opponent controls. The selected monster is changed to Attack Position and must attack this card when possible. If this card destroys the selected monster by battle, your opponent randomly discards 1 card from their hand. During the End Phase of a turn that this card destroyed a monster by battle, by sending this card to the Graveyard, Special Summon 1 "Nightmare Jester LV7" from your hand or Deck. All your opponent's face-up monster's are changed to Attack Position and must attack this card when possible. If this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle, inflict damage equal to half the attacking monster's ATK. When this card is destroyed, change all your opponent's face-up monsters to Defense Position. [/center][/spoiler][/center]

LV3 I believe it should be "If [b]this[/b] monster [b]would be destroyed by battle[/b], you can pay 1000 Life Points [b]instead[/b] and destroy the attacking monster. [s] before damage calculation.[/s]"

Reasons being the monster wont be flipped until the attack goes through. And the "before damage calculation" in your original is out of place. It has nothing to do with the effect since if your effect wording was correct, it wouldn't even get to the Damage Step not only that but it's in DEF no damage would be taken anyways unless it was attacked by a piercer.

Then in turn that would change the rest of the effect as well to:
"During your next Standby Phase, [b]if this card's effect was activated[/b], [b]by[/b] send[b]ing[/b] this card to the Graveyard Special Summon 1 "Nightmare Jester LV5" from your hand or Deck."

I added the by sending bit as LV monsters shouldn't be force leveled.

Anyways I figure the rest are fine. Although I would tone down your LV 10. It's a tad too powerful with it's black hole effect.

Well I decided I didn't like the black hole effect as much, and since he's constantly forcing monsters into attacking, I thought it'd fit that they switched to defense position when he's destroyed. That way if you have additional monsters on the field, you can't inflict battle damage to your opponent, but they also can't attack you if he was your only monster. But thanks for all your feedback! :D
