Sorrow.
Guest Speaking is the act in which a famous person gets paid to discuss a certain topic to an audience. For example T.I. Telling kids not to do drugs. I've recently got an assembly for the guest speaking of Chad Hymas, and his speech was the first one that actually inspired me. He used the tactic of feeling sorry for him due to the fact that he is paralyzed from the armpits and down. His message was to be kind to handicapped people at my school. He was a great guest speaker and he seems like a likable guy. Discuss guest speakers that come to your school.
Marisa Kirisame-ze
My uncle and aunt came once on career day at my middle school. My friends and the rest of the school loved them~ And so do I~<3 But besides that, authors have come to previous schools I've been to. I don't remember much of them though. Now that I'm in high school, we really don't get guest speakers at all.
Sorrow.
Probably because they think that your mature enough to know what you should and shouldn't do. Or maybe your school's budget is low or something like that =\.
Marisa Kirisame-ze
Or just because they don't care to entertain us or involve us with guest speakers. Honestly, my school doesn't care for each individual. However, I suppose it could be because of budget too, or because parents really don't want to get involved with high schoolers either. I-dreezyAFG
T.I telling kids not to do drugs is hilarious because its true after he got caught with guns. i remember in grade 7 a guest speaker came and talked to us about drugs, sex and gangs (which is what you find in a rap song). we ended up getting exta long recess and free candy. what a glitch (slang term). Smesh
We had the first woman on the moon to come to our school. She piloted the Shuttle. Eileen Collins, I think.

hexcalibrate
While i was at secondary school we had a asian kid called Mohammed, who for a joke (that he actually started) we all called him a terrorist. yes this does have relavence to guest speakers. this guy came in to talk about about terrorism and you know when they try to act out situationswell that what this guy did and he needed a volunteer and guess who he picked, thats right Mohammed, the guest speaker told him to represent the average middle eastern person. to help Mohammed the guest speaker brought a big beard and a turban and thn ask him scream like he was a wolf being kicked in the konishnakovs (my word for nuts), he then turned to all of us and said "this average terrorist angry, deluded and completely stark raving mad. but do not be fooled by their eccentric appearence they are always in disguise hiding among you just like crazy Mohammed here" (at no point was mohammeds real name mentioned and this was supposed to be a made up name for the situation). "we must fight them with our life if need be, people of the muslem religion like Mohammed hear are EVIL", with Mohammed actually being indian and now very p*ssed off to end, kicked him right in the konishnakovs. best day of school i ever had
