LOCK holo help!

hi mates!
I'm new with Photoshop and I need a little help with the "halo effect". How can I add it into my pics?

I'd help you, but I'm a GIMP user...

Maybe you could figure it out from the subtle similarities, so here's the GIMP instructions:

1 - Save these two holo sheets.

2 - Start up GIMP and open up your card.
3 - Go to File -> Open as Layer or press Ctrl + Alt + O.
4 - Open up one of the holo sheets. Either works.
5 - Use the scaling tool (Shift + T) to resize the sheet to 244 x 248.
6 - Position your holo sheet over the card picture so the corners line up.
7 - Press Ctrl + L. Click the bar that says "Normal" and select "Dodge" in the drop-down menu.
8 - Go to Layer -> Merge Down and save your card.
9 - Your result should look like one of these:
