[M.D.] Eisenfalke Reworked

Max Darkness

Having streamlined the concepts in my head that forged this card; it's original effect that only reduced the targeted monster's ATK to 0 and also offered burn damage was, in my mind, overpowered. Now, it's a simple Level 7 Machine that can gain enough firepower to overcome almost any monster.

Enjoy.

Effect: Once per turn, you can Tribute 1 Machine-Type monster you control to have this card gain ATK or DEF equal to the Tributed monster's ATK or DEF, until the End Phase. If you activate this effect, other monsters you control cannot declare an attack this turn.

(Best used in combination with "Shackles of the Underworld" and "Machine Duplication" on a high-ATK, Level 4 Machine-Type (eg "X-Head Cannon"/"Koaki'Meiru Powerhand"). Equip "Shackles" to one you control, Special Summon a pair with "Machine Duplication"; tribute a pair to Summon this, then Tribute the last one for a 4300 to 4600 ATK one-turn beatstick.)

Well, it's a decent enough card, and it looks cool, but it isn't really all that creative. All it does is become a beatstick that sucks up all the attacks you have in a turn...which is great if you have to destroy an opponent's monster with a high defense or if you get a shot at your opponent's life points but otherwise it is kinda pointless. However, it does have its uses. 8/10

I know it's a little dull, but its original effect was rather overpowered. And it fits in where it's supposed to in my fic as part of a Machine Trinity (A counterpart to the Dragon Lords).

Also, I've been facing a lot of Decks that use "The Dark Door" recently, so that may have influenced me...
