Don't do 2 Force. Add a Peacekeeper instead. Also, with the 141 destruction, Spirit Reaper is sexy. Main decked Cyber Dragons are pretty bad though. Well, actually, I don't know. Everybody believes that nobody will play Machina Gadgets because Cyber Dragon is at 3, so nobody sides Cyber Dragon. It's quite funny arguing with said people over the subject.

Back From Locals: Heres the Report.

Round 1:
Me (Gadgets) VS Antonio (Chaos Stun)

Antonio is a pretty cool guy. I always have fun playing him and he always makes good trades with me. Last time I played him he was using GBs and I was able to win, so my hopes were pretty high

Game 1: Thunder King shuts me down. My gadgets cant search and he easily runs over them. By the time I get Solidarity on the field, he has banisher so I cant do anything. He takes the game

Game 2: Once again, Thunder King stops me. Between Thunderking, Duality, and Doom Cal, I get destroyed. He takes the round

Round 2:
Me (Gadgets) VS Scrub Squad (???)

Not much to say about this round. Some little kid with some random crap. I take the round

Round 3:
Me (Gadgets) VS Dustin (Quickdraw)

Game 1: I open up fairly well. We both stall for awhile until I am able to get double dust tornado and MST, clearing his back row and allowing me to summon Fortress for game. I would have won the game, but in his last turn whil milling for Card Trooper, he milled his remaining two PoAs. I got lucky.

Game 2: I opened up terribly. Double Solidarity, Overload, D-Prison, Machina Force, and Smashing Ground. I was able to stall until I drew into Fortress the next turn. After that I was able to cycle through all of my gadgets. However, It got to a point where through a combination on Tytanial and Black Rose, I had nothing and he had Catastor. He ran through my remaining gadgets with it and my last fortress. With the game on the line, I drew into the Cyber Dragon I needed, activated Overload, and used overdragon to run over Catastor for game.

Round 4:
Me (Gadgets) VS Austin (X-Sabers)

Austin is a good friend, whom Ive known since I started playing yugioh seriously 4 years ago. I was looking forward to playing him, but not so much to playing sabers.

Game 1: I go first. Summon Gearframe, search fortress, set Dust tornado and end. He sets darksoul facedown and a backrow, which I blow up with tornado. I proceed to summon a gadget, destroy his darksoul and end. He forgets his search, and scoops.

Game 2: Cold Wave + xx-saber hyunlei + Faultrol + Gottoms = Me getting s*** on. Once again, I hate sabers.

Game 3: He opens with double Gold Sarc and searches for Cold wave and Faultrol. I figure I have two turns to win until I get s*** on again, so I play as best I can. Summon Gearframe, set d-prison and end. I d-Prison his boggart knight and he sets some stuff. Next turn I draw into trunade, use it, summon a gadget and Fortress, limiter removal for game.

Round 5 (TOP 8)
Me (Gadgets) VS Mitchel (Blackwings)

Never played him before, but Id seen him around the shop a lot. He spent the majority of the match complaining about how Gadgets took no skill to play, but I didint really care.

Game 1: Loooong game. Dont remember much from it honestly. I do remember that I used Trunade and Dark hole to clear the field, Summond a gadget, then fortress, then used reborn on his sirroco for game

Game 2: Opened up with double gearframe, green gadget, overload, smashing, and D- Prison. He starts by summoning sirroco and sets 1. I summon Gearframe, search fortress. Set D-prison and end. He gets attacks with Sirroco, I D-prison, he chains deck devestation. I show him my hand and discard the one gadget I have. Next turn I draw into my third gearframe. Summon, search Force. I then attempt to summon fortress, but he oppressions. I attack with my two gearframes. He set a monster and a face down. I summon my 3rd gearframe. Search force and then use it to summon fortress from my grave. He oppressions it, then I monster reborn it, which he again oppressions. I attack with a gearframe and he chains Icarus, killing two gearframes but allowing me to use the third for game.

So I got to top four, and we decided to split the prizes rather than play. I didint pull anything though.

I finished the day 4-1 with gadgets, only losing to Chaos Stun.

Pros of the day
Being able to play for the first time in a month
Being in the top four for the first time in awhile
Overload Fusion
Beating Sabers for the first time.
Seeing and playing some old friends
Made $20 selling stuff

Cons
Cold wave
Not pulling anything out of packs
Thunder King Rai-Oh
Banisher of Radiance

Overall, it was a damn good day.

Cyber Dragon x2
Recycler
Solidarity x3
Book of Moon x2
Overload Fusio
Starlight Road
Trap Stun x2

+3 Peacekeeper
+1 Smashing Ground
+1 Seven Tools
+2 Pot of Avarice
+1 Gorz
+3 Fissure
+1 Spirit Reaper

why do you hate me and my fixes
I deemed the local report more important than fixes, so I didint look at them at the time. I dont hate you. barely know ya brah.

Cyber Dragon is pro. It lets me run over a lot of the commonly seen monsters as well as set up for Overdragon. True the main point of the deck isint to get out Overdragon, but having the option is great. Ive won quite a few games with it because by the time I use Overload, its late in the game and my opponent usualy cant stop it do to lack of resources. Yes, I do have fortress to worry about, but I can usualy get around it.

Solidarity is pro. It allows me to boost the rather weak gadgets to a point where I can run over most things. Just one Solidarity already allows me to slam most of the cards that make blackwings, sabers, and many of the other decks that run the meta.

Book of Moon is just good. Stops synchros and other game breaking cards

Trap Stun is good to. Allows me to stop my opponents traps and go for big plays, while still being able to run mine. Buuuut, im sidedecking Stun for now in favor of dust tornado, just to see how it plays out. Tornado worked really well for me this past weekend, and I want to keep testing it.

Peacekeeper is bad. I would only ever run 1, and even then it still wasnt that good for me.

Smashing ground I would like to run at 3. In all honesty, I may or may not end up dropping starlight in favor of it.

Seven tools is a meh. Ill think about it.

PoA isint really needed, especialy not 2 coppies. At most I would conseder running 1. Even then, still not as useful as I want it to be.

Gorz and Reaper defeat the purpose of solidarity.

Fissure is a no. I dont need any more monster removal.

So there it is. Your Fixes are not bad, just not the way I want to run the deck.

Double Force is bad stuff. Neg it for Spirit Reaper. Then neg Solidarity for a Card Trooper and double Gold Sarcophagus. Other things that should be negged:
Starlight Road
Dust Tornado
Cyber Dragon
Overload Fusion

Starlight just isn't set off by almost anything. You can side it in against Blackwings and Glads (Icarus and Gyzarus, on top of the preexisting Dark Hole), but that's about it.

Dust Tornado isn't that great, it's just that I can't conjure up a compelling argument atm. Space reasons should about sum it up.

Cyber Dragon cockblocks your entire deck via Chimeratech Fortress Dragon.

Overload Fusion can't be run without Cyber Dragon. In addition, you will ragequit when your opponent plays Dimensional Prison, Mirror Force, Solemn Warning, Solemn Judgment (not as much this one), Bottomless Trap Hole, or any of a variety of other cards, especially if your opponent decided to run Magical Cylinder (NOTE: I am not saying that Magical Cylinder is a good card, but I am saying that if your opponent plays it on your Chimeratech, you will be ruined).

You should add two Machina Peacekeepers, a Scrap Recycler, My Body as a Shield, a Trap Stun, and a Cold Wave.

You don't need S/T negation/ destruction in Gadgets.

The rest are decent fixes tho.
I play Gadgets. I've kind of noticed that. Trap Stun is pretty bad tbh, but I was just using it as filler because there were too many bad cards and he's on a budget. Just realized I could have suggested Fissure.

Yeah, Fissure over Trap Stun and Cold Wave.
