Engetsu
Here's a card that I recently used in a 1 on 1 contest. I think it's balanced, but then again, I'm most likely wrong. Constructive criticism would be most appreciated. Comment|Rate|Rep|Hate|Whatever Image Credit=Jazin Kay EDIT -Removed draw effect to make this card slightly more balanced (even though this card now feels bland to me). Мερhilεs
*thumbs up* I'm assuming by discard, it means from your hand. I think it's reasonably balanced, and personally I would also change the Draw 2 cards to Draw 1 card.
Engetsu
Yes you're correct (about the discard thing). And I will most likely change it from 2 to 1, but I'm gonna wait for more comments/opinions on it before I do so.
Lord Smeagle
I think this is a great card and the picture fits flawlessly. That smug look that says "You're SO locked down next turn" is exactly what you'd expect from a Skillless Village deck, and he also looks like he'd be perfectly willing to off his buddy to draw two cards. 9.3/10. jack781217
The second effect is just so convenient that I kind of don't like it, but nonetheless the card is great. I would agree about changing it to drawing 1 card only. 10/
Engetsu
Alright. I'll change the draw from 2 to 1 then, and see how that works out. Anyways thanks for commenting.

The effect is pretty powerful but at the same time your getting rid of a fairly strong monster The little Extras: Hey, For once everything is there! YOUR GRADE IS!!!! A (Congrats your the first person to get an A, Which means a rep for you) Its a great card, not too complex but not boring. Buttercup
If Secret Village wasn't getting Blizzard Princess, this'd be fine. As it is it's horribly OP support for a Deck that doesn't need it. Booo. 4/10 OP

I don't see why it's such a big deal, other than providing a 2800 ATK lolbeatstick with a 1 turn Spell/Trap lockdown for your opponent. Not really threatening imo considering how much faster the other Decks are. But since I don't completely understand the Meta, what would you suggest? For changes in the card's effect? Or is this card that "bad" that it can't possibly be fixed?
Buttercup
It's a massive threat for a -1 that is often mitigated by the Spys/ Apppretice targets you'll be running. Remove the "I get a free Smashing Ground/ a Pot of Greed" effect and it'll be OK.
Engetsu
That just reduces it to a mere Deck/Graveyard Searcher then :/ What about this then? If "Secret Village of the Spellcasters" is face-up on the field, you can destroy 1 monster on the field. If a Spellcaster-Type monster you control was destroyed by this effect, draw 1 card. I could also get rid of the Graveyard search if that helps. Buttercup
Smashing Ground's sort of ok, I'm just not a fan of the draw thing.
Engetsu
I see, and as for the draw effect, you would have to destroy 1 of your own Spellcaster monsters to activate it (most of the time) but I changed it so that you would have to destroy your own Spellcaster monster to draw a card. It's a pretty fair trade imo.
Buttercup
tbh, that just makes that effect unplayable. Going -2 to draw 1 isn't great.
Engetsu
So I guess I should change it back to 2 cards, or just get rid of the draw effect altogether?
Buttercup
Getting rid of the draw thing would be cool.

Buttercup
You can't put too many good effects on a card that already has a great one.
