Final Cryptids

Hey it's me Smashsquatch!
I decided to start making this fanfiction after watching Lost Tapes I've always wanted to make a story like this. It's kind of like Bleach except instead of hollows these Hidden Hunters as there called fight Cryptids (hidden animals). So here is chapter 1 of hopefully alot successful chapters.


My name is Ace Lotly! I am a captain of one of the many squads of the Hidden Hunters! We've killed many Cryptids who have caused hellish havoc upon the people of a normal life. Every Hidden Hunter has a sword and ninja-like weapons such as kuni knives and shurikens. I am not very masculine but can put up a fight which is something a captain must have. My team consist of men and woman who put their lives on the line some of them I consider to be close friends such as Dylan Ramsier and Trent Mouzolf. Dylan is the buffest of the team he has short red hair and a scar on his left eye. He carries a large thick sharp blade that he carries inside a case. He wares a an over-sized skeleton ribcage torso but on the upper part of it was a large spiked shoulder base he had a blucky black pants that went to his . Trent was the swiftest of the team who wore a Brown hoodie and blue jeans, his sword was a large katana. As for me I have short black hair a large black jacket that's large enough that it goes down to my knees, long blue jeans and black sunglasses, my sowrd is different form of a sword it has a black blade but it's like a sword a knight in shining armor would hold, it's handle is surrounded by bone-like tail/spine thing of a tiny cryptid they call it Gremlin. We are the Hidden Hunters.

I still remember that day I when I became a captain back then. We got a call saying that giant flying creatures were terrifying a village in South America we were dispatched to check it out this was a mission that no will ever forget.

-5 years ago (early morning)-
"Yawn!" I said as I got up to see the sunshine was peeking through the curtains of my room. I walked out dressed in clothes and sword case on back, as I walked out I saw my squad enjoying breakfast I walked over to the table where Dylan and Trent were talking. "Good morning Dylan, Trent so how was your night?" I asked trying to smile from being still half asleep, finally Dylan anwsered. "It was rough night I see for you was it?" "It was! I stayed til like 1:00 doing paperwork!" I said trying not to shout or sound mean. Finally it was around 12:00 when my captain back then Axel Heil rose up and shouted to everyone in the dining hall, "My squad time to go to Argentina! Head out to the teleport room!" We all got up threw away our breakfast and went to an awkward looking house that was coned shaped and looked like an indian hut but inside was a room filled with loads of technology.
"So why did you have to do paperwork?" asked Trent who is usually silent and doesn't speak much usually adds to his silent killing nature. "Punishment for that prank we played back at the Captain's office where we loaded that alcohol bottle with firecrackers! He found out I was involved so I had got punished by doing paperwork!" I replied. Finally alot of lights started to flicker then in no time we were in a small indeginous village of Argentina. The people living there were mexican and starred at us like we were aliens. That's when we heard a man scream "AHHHHHHHH! AHOOL! AHOOL!" he shouted as he ran out of the wild. We turned to see nothing and then from out where the man was running from came a large hideous bat-like demon that had to be about the size of a house. It roared with a screech that could make ear's bleed and fangs that could eat a man whole. Finally we all grabbed our swords and pulled them out pointing them towards the Ahool. "CHARGE AND KILL MY MEN!" shouted Captain Heil. Who grabbed out his fire red blade that had a burning texture to it. The Ahool roared and then in no time over 5 Ahools were flying and standing around us. We all jumped and went to war with the Ahools. I ran towards one that was flapping his wings to try blow us away but pounced towards it with enough strength that it was like nothing to me, I then slashed the chest of it right open and killed it. Dylan and other men were trying to approach the one on the ground that kept trying to bite anyone who got to close finally Dylan ran towards it and held the creatures jaw open and threw it to the ground where he finally snapped it's neck and killed it. As for Trent he stood and watched the Ahools being killed and killing the men of his fellow squad that's when one of them snatched him with it's talon and lifted him high in the air, and in a blink of a second Trent gripped his Katana and slashed the creatures claws right off and but it happened so fast that no one saw him move. That's when he ran up the Ahool's body and slashed off the wings where it fell down and he used the Ahool's body as an airbag while colliding into the ground but he was uninjured. "Nice work Trent!" commented Dylan who had just cutoff the head of one of the Ahool's. Finally when they finally killed the last one, Captain Heil turned to congradulate us but then was grabbed by the talons of a hidden Ahool but this one was larger than the others and was red and had large devil horns on it's head. Captain Heil was getting squished by the force the talons brought upon him. "Damn!" he muttered, finally there was a snapping sound and then the Red Ahool dropped him and as he fell he died. We rushed over to where his body laid. We all started to get teary-eyed at the sight even Trent started to cry. His last words were, "I always enjoyed being your captain and I hope you'll make a good decision on choosing your next one!" after those words the turned over and died. I shouted in anger, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! DAMN YOU AHOOL! YOU SHALL BURN IN HELL!" everyone starred at me with a look of fear on their faces finally I started to spit out orders, "I want you guys to go over there and prepare an attack against that Ahool! Trent you join them! Dylan can you throw that boulder at that?" Dylan starred at the boulder and then the Red Ahool in the sky, "I could!" he said, that's when walked over to the boulder and lifted it and chucked it at the Ahool and got a lucky hit as the Ahool started to fall. "Okay men I want you to head to where it's falling on the double!" I demanded, and my men ran over to do what I told them. We went into battle with the beast finally my men were getting injured and killed by the tens. That's when I did something I thought I never would do. "Men I want you to evacuate I'll hold it off!" I said as I walked in front of them with my sword pointed at the Red Ahool. "But Ace?" said Dylan but was cutoff by me, "GO!" That's when it started storming and me and the Ahool starred eye to eye. Finally I leaped hoping to cut his wings but he used his claws to deflect my attack. So I jumped back again and this time cut through his wing and finally turned around to see the Ahool's mouth wide open and going towards me. So I lifted my sword to hold off his mouth. I could feel the pressure that was being put on me I was starting to lose my strength to hold it off so that's when I lifted my free hand and aimed it at its mouth and a sphere of light started to form at my hand and finally shot a a light beam right up its mouth and when the smoke and debris cleared the Ahool was headless and I was banged up and finally fainted.
I woke up the next morning in the Infirmry my team was around me and I asked, "Why did you save me?" Finally one of them replied, "Because we weren't going to leave our captain behind." I looked at them over what I was told that's when an old man who had a black robe came in with a cain and had a sash of a captain it was white and on it was a patch of two H's interconnecting. "Master Hauzer sir what are you doing here?" I asked in shock, "Didn't you team tell you! You have been named Captain of this squad!" he replied with a smile as he handed me the sash. I had a warm smile come over my face as everyone starred and smiled at me also. From that day on I've always fought like a dedicated Captain and always will until the day I die!
