Psychic-Type Synchro: hopefully its effect makes sense, and isn't too OP'ed.

1 Psychic Tuner + 2 or more non-Tuner monsters
Whenever you pay Life Points to activate an effect of a Psychic-Type monster you control, you can double the amount of Life Points paid to have this card gain ATK equal to the amount of Life Points paid, until your opponent's End Phase. Any Battle Damage this card inflicts to your opponent is reduced to 0, and you gain Life Points equal to the amount of Battle Damage this card would have inflicted. This card cannot attack your opponent directly.

Sure. Although he has 0 ATK, so he'd be at 4000 ATK. But you have to take this into consideration: You're not always at 8000 Life Points. This card is about risk; you can pay that 4000 Life Points to have this card be a major beatstick, but it's still a major beatstick that can be easily destroyed/stopped by a variety of cards (Mirror Force, Sakuretsu Armor, Spellbinding Circle, etc.).

Also, there's only 1 Psychic-Type monster whose effects costs 2000 Life Points that I can think of, and that's Overdrive Teleporter. The most common amount of Life Points required to be paid for an effect of a Psychic-Type is 800. So this card can gain 1600 ATK from that, plus any other amount of Life Points you feel like paying in the same turn, depending on the number of monsters you control that require paying Life points.

But yeah, you're basically right.

Why this last part on the effect you would just get your life points you paid back anyway lol
This card with thought ruler archfiend would be beast lol i like the card very original effect that ties in with the other monsters of that type. :)

That's the point. You pay mass amounts of Life Points to beef up this card's ATK, that way it can easily destroy whatever monster your opponent controls that you want to destroy; and in the end, you gain a fair amount—probably not all—of Life Points afterwards.

The picture is awesome. Very fitting of its name.

But the effect:

thematic: check

usefullness (in current state): not so much.

suggestions:
[**] Wording:When you pay Life Points to activate the effect of a Psychic monster you control, increase this card's ATK by the same amount until the End Phase.
[**]Have the original ATK for this card start out somewhere between 2700-2900. Because, after all, it is a 10* monster. Since its effecet is rather modest, in all honesty, you need to give him a nice ATK. I mean, Leodrake and Gottoms have 3000 and 3100, respectively, and they are only 9*. I am suggesting 2700-2900 because I know that those costs of Psychics can add up.

7.5/10. Keep up the great work
