Smokin'
Before I begin, if this is in the wrong section please move it to the appropriate one. The idea of this Poll / Game / General activity is simple, I want to find out what your preferred martial arts would be if you had to build your own arsenal of mixed martial arts. You are only permitted 4 martial arts but you are free to chose any martial art in the whole world as long as it is accessible and you are able to learn. E.g. Jeet Kune Do would not be one as there is no where of such to learn it properly. If I think it is a worthy combination I will put you in the hall of fame.

Muay Thai (Striking base) Pankration (Wrestling and Striking base) (Spartan hand-to-hand combat) Shaolin Kung Fu (Striking base) Wing Chun Kung Fu (Neutral)

I entered my own in the hall of fame because these are all ones I do and have proven most effective, I have won countless cage fights with that combination and I don't plan to lose any time soon.

Smokin'
Easy. Judo, Muay Tai, Brazilian Jui Jitsu, and Tae Kwon Do.
Judo - Is a common grappling art used in MMA bouts, I would say it's quite unoriginal to use and not very effective as counter-grappling martial arts such as Greco-Roman Wrestling can easily get a transition down on these types of techniques. (Greco-Roman Wrestling is also mildly common within MMA events) Muay Thai - Extremely common yet effective, it's a striking base Martial Art and can be used to advantage against other Striking base opponents as it uses all aspects of the body. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu - Another grappling art, although common within MMA bouts it is much more effective then Judo and focuses on submissions, I would highly recommend rethinking the Judo option. Tae Kwon Do - Is not too common within MMA, it focuses on striking and is extremely effective against opponents if you can get a head kick down. I strongly recommend starting up on this or keeping it as an option. Not as easy as you thought it would be getting into the Hall of Famers is it? ;D

Fader
Tae Kwon Do.
Had a tournament in this today, I got a shirt that said "I bust mine to kick yours!" If I had to pick 1.Tae Kwon Do ...why pick anything else, I can win with just this... I wouldn't have picked the martial art I knew least about; I actually take/took these martial arts classes to learn them. That's the set of combat I know and am capable of using; it's very effective due to the fact that no one I know takes martial arts and I can bring anyone down that comes into my path. Unless that person has a gun or knife of course. But yeah, it's not like I'm gonna go into the ring and fight anytime soon~ But your information is somewhat useful when you sum up all four of the martial arts I do in a row.
