I Love Mickey Mouse - Some Mickey Cards (11/??)

Recommended Posts

Like many of us, I grew up with Disney in my mind. That affected me, and I could now talk about Fantasia and stuff... but to be honest, that would take too long, and this is just meant to be a short hiatus :) So yeah, no set or anything, just some cards when I feel like it ;)
And actually, those first cards are not meant to be related to good old Mickey. I never desired a Wii, never. Until now. Epic Mickey is going to be... epic. I want it, now, but I currently sadly can't afford a Wii :(

"Mickey Mouse" + 1 or more non-Tuner LIGHT monsters
When this card is Summoned, place 1 Spirit Counter on it (max 3). This cards ATK and DEF is equal to the number of Spirit Counters on it x 1200. During each of your End Phases, place 1 Spirit Counter on this card. You can remove 2 Spirit Counters from this card to take control of 1 face-up monster your opponent controls. That monster cannot attack the turn control of it switched. When this card destroys a Level 4 or lower monster by battle, you can remove 1 Spirit Counter from this card to take control of that monster (it is not sent to the Graveyard). While there are 3 Spirit Counters on this card, if you control at least 1 other face-up monster, this card cannot be destroyed by battle or your opponent's card effects.

"Mickey Mouse" + 1 or more non-Tuner DARK monsters
When this card is Summoned, place 1 Spirit Counter on it (max 3). This cards ATK and DEF is equal to the number of Spirit Counters on it x 1200. When this card destroys a monster by battle, place 1 Spirit Counter on it. You can remove 1 Spirit Counter from this card to remove 1 card your opponent controls from play. A card removed from play by this card's effect cannot be returned to the hand, Deck or Graveyard and cannot be Summoned for the remainder of this Duel. While there are 3 Spirit Counters on this card, if it's the only face-up monster you control, this card cannot be destroyed by battle or your opponent's card effects.

"Mickey Mouse" + 1 or more Spellcaster-Type non-Tuner monsters
Each time a Spell Card is activated, place 1 Spell Counter on this card. This card gains 100 ATK for each Spell Counter on it. Once per turn, you can remove a number of Spell Counters from this card to activate one of the following effects:
-3 Spell Counters: Special Summon 1 "Broom Token" (Fiend-Type/WIND/Level 3/1600 ATK/200 DEF) to your opponent's side of the field, then add 1 Spell Card from your Graveyard to your hand.
-5 Spell Counters: Special Summon 2 "Broom Tokens" to your opponent's side of the field, then destroy up to 2 Spell or Trap Cards your opponent controls.
-8 Spell Counters: Special Summon as many "Broom Tokens" to your opponent's side of the field as possible, then destroy all cards on the field except this one and "Broom Tokens" your opponent controls. After the effect resolved, return all Spell Cards in either players Graveyard to their Deck. Both Decks are then shuffled.
-10 Spell Counters: Destroy all "Broom Tokens" on the field, then Special Summon 1 Level 7 or higher Spellcaster-Type monster from your hand, Deck or Graveyard.

"Mickey Mouse" + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
When this card is Summoned, Special Summon 1 "Pete Token" to your opponent's side of the field (Beast-Warrior-Type/Toon/EARTH/Level 8/3000 ATK/3000 DEF). Once per turn, you can Special Summon 1 Level 2 or lower Normal Monster from your hand or Deck in face-up Attack Position. When this card was Synchro Summoned, this card and all Normal Monsters you control are treated as Toon Monsters. Toon Monsters you control gain the following effect: When a "Steamboat Mickey" you control is removed from the field, this card is destroyed. If your opponent doesn't control a Toon Monster, this card can attack your opponent's Life Points directly. If a face-up Toon Monster is on your opponent's side of the field, you must select the Toon Monster as an attack target.

"Mickey Mouse" + 2 or more non-Tuner Warrior-Type monsters
During either player's Standby Phase, destroy all face-up DARK monsters. When a DARK monster is send to the Graveyard, it is removed from play instead. Once per turn, you can remove 1 LIGHT monster in your Graveyard from play to look at your opponent's hand, then select 1 monster and send it to the Graveyard. If the selected monster was DARK, you can Special Summon the monster you removed for this effect in face-up Defense Position. Once per turn, you can remove 1 LIGHT monster in your hand from play: This card can attack twice during this Battle Phase.

"Mickey Mouse" + 1 or more Tuner monsters
When this card is Synchro Summoned, you can Special Summon up to 4 Level 1 Normal Monsters from your Deck. While this card is in face-up Defense Position, Level 1 Normal Monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle or your opponents card effects. During your Standby Phase, place 1 Band Counter on this card. Level 1 Normal Monsters you control gain 800 ATK for each Band Counter on this card. If this card would be destroyed, you can Tribute 1 Level 1 Normal Monster you control instead. If this card is the only monster you control while there is at least 1 Band Counter on it, remove this card from play and draw 1 card for each Band Counter on it.

"Mickey Mouse" + 1 non-Tuner monster
This card can only be Synchro Summoned if the total Life Points of both players are 4000 or lower. This card is unaffected by card effects. During your End Phase, give control of this card to your opponent. When control of this card switches, the player who received control of it gains 2000 Life Points. Each time control of this card switches, place 1 Gift Giving Counter on this card. When there are 24 or more Gift Giving Counters on this card, the player who receives control of this card can tribute it and all monsters on the field: Both players Special Summon up to 5 Synchro Monsters from their Extra Deck, ignoring their Summoning Conditions. Their effects are negated until the next players End Phase.

You can use this card in your hand or Graveyard as a Synchro Material Monster for the Synchro Summon of a "Mickey" Synchro Monster. When this card is used as a Synchro Material Monster for the Synchro Summon of a "Mickey" monster, Special Summon 1 "Baby Mickey Token" (Fairy-Type/LIGHT/Level 1/0 ATK/0 DEF). While you control a face-up "Mickey" Synchro Monster, "Baby Mickey Tokens" you control cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects.

"Mickey Mouse" + 1 or more non-Tuner WATER monsters
When this card is Synchro Summoned, look at your opponent's hand, select 1 card and add it to your hand. When this card attacks your opponent directly, you can say "Arrr" to reduce the damage inflicted by this attack to 0, then look at the top card of your opponent's Deck and either send it to the bottom of their Deck or add it to your hand. Cards added to your hand by this card's effect cannot be used during the same turn. When this card would be destroyed by battle, you can select 1 card in your hand you do not originally own and add it to your opponent's hand instead. When this card is sent to the Graveyard, discard all cards that you do not originally own from your hand.

"Mickey Mouse" + 1 or more non-Tuner Beast-Warrior-Type monsters
This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, if it's dark outside, you can Normal Summon it to have it be treated as an Effect Monster with this effect:
-This card gains 1000 ATK for each "Mickey" Synchro Monster in your Graveyard. When this card destroys a monster by battle, instead of sending it to the Graveyard, remove it from play, then check your opponent's hand and Deck and remove from play all monsters with the same name as the destroyed one. During your End Phase, if this card did not attack this turn, Tribute 1 other monster you control or destroy this card.
M-I-C-K-E-Y!
M-O-U-S-E!

Love THAT show.

Surprised he isn't a Beast. This probably means he is not an animal and is a very kind mouse.

Mickey seems recycle-able, I like!

Is 'Spirit Counter' a reference to being very retro?

Epic Mickey Paint. seems limitedly indestructable... I'll investigate later.

Tainted Mickey is scary D:

Kind he is indeed :) And I preferred the Warrior/Spellcaster differentiation over the pure Beast-Type... it just fits better, imo.
Mickey seems recycle-able, I like!
Yep, he is :P It's just like taking off the old costume and try on a new one ;)
Is 'Spirit Counter' a reference to being very retro?
Nope, it refers to the game mechanics of "Disney's Epic Mickey", where Mickey gets accompanied by (I think they were called) Spirits, either Spirits of Paint or Spirits of Thinner, the longer and more effective he uses one of the two. His respective abilities get stronger that way, which shall further distinct the two different playstyles.
Epic Mickey Paint. seems limitedly indestructable... I'll investigate later.
Well, both are under certain conditions. It should refer to the playstyle, because if you prefer playing with thinner (in theory) the NPCs react very denying towards you, and you play more the "lone-wolf-style", relying more on destroying the enemies and environment rather than "healing" it. If you prefer using Paint, you can "convert" the enemies, and the NPCs react more friendly and are more willing to give quests. At least that's how it should work in theory, since the game isn't out yet, it's still a matter you can't be sure of.

Yeah...

Thanks for the comment :)

I expect a Yen Sid monster that's higher than Level 7.

But all else is [s]epic[/s] er, pretty cool.
In theory, yes you can... but since this is a thread about Mickey and Mickey alone, I'll leave him out :P

But...I think the correct Sub-Type is Beast or Beast-Warrior.
Already explained it: I prefer the Warrior/Spellcaster distinction... also he can hardly be called a "Beast", can he? He's just too cuddly cute :P
Epicness!! ^^ King Mickey from Kingdom Hearts!! In... Organization XII's uniform? Kinda strange.
Mickey in disguise ;) He actually wears the robe quite a while in the games, and you can't deny that he looks kinda cool in that... also I didn't find a decent picture of him in his "regular" Kingdom Hearts clothes, so this one had to do ;)

Thanks for looking into it everyone, actually I'm glad this gets so much attention, it shows that YCM still has a very kind heart... just like Mickey

Here's one more I dug up, another pretty old one, maybe search for that old episode on Youtube, definitely worth it ;) Oh, and "1 or more Tuner monsters" is not a typo...
