An Inverz card

FTW (For The Wynn)

Recommended Posts

Here it is:

You can Tribute Summon this card in face-up Attack Position only by Tributing 1 "Inverz" monster. Once per turn, you can pay 1000 Life Points to negate the activation of a card's effect and destroy that card.

Small effect, I know. It could be OP'd.

Image Cred: I'm not exactly sure, Serenity (now The CandyMan) gave it to me but I'm fairly sure he got it from Jazin Kay.

Hate/Rate/Whatever

One thing to note: A 6 star monster can be summoned with only 1 tribute anyways. Unless it's a special summon, there's no point to that first bit.

I know what you were going for, but the effect is supposed to only allow this card to be summoned by tributing 1 "Inverz" monster. I'll reword it later.

How i would Write it's effect, BTW, it's called Steelswarm in TF5

Once per turn, If this card was Tribute Summoned by Tributing a "Inverz" Monster, you can pay 1000 Life Points to negate the activation of a Spell, Trap, or Monster card's effect and destroy that card.

The first clause wasn't needed, being a level 6, and that will be to balance it as well

EDIT: Ninja'd Damn

You know... I'd think it goes both ways... I keep thinking it is a little Up'd and Op'd O _o ... How'd that happen?

9.7/10

It happens, I've seen it before lol. I understand.

I'm going to edit this card, but before I do, I wish to point out the first sentence. Read it carefully. It says ONLY. I have actually played before, I am well aware that a 6 Star requires only 1 tribute, and has for as long as I can remember. My point is that my effect isn't wrong based on that because it says "You can Tribute Summon this card in face-up Attack Position only by Tributing 1 "Inverz" monster."

I don't blame anyone who posted that this was wrong, you didn't notice what I meant and for that I apologize. I also make these mistakes all the time, I'm cool with it, but I'm pointing it out here. Aside from that, I'll be editing the card for things that have also been pointed out. It'll be up soon.

Edit: Edited version is up.

Better effect:
This cannot be normal summoned or set, except tribute summon. This card can only be special summoned from your hand by paying 800 life points. You can Tribute Summon this card in face-up Attack Position only by Tributing 1 "Inverz" monster. Once per turn, you can pay 1000 Life Points to negate the activation of a Spell, Trap or Monster card's effect and destroy that card.

Thanks for the advice, but this version of the effect doesn't make sense balance wise. You make it easy to Special Summon, so I would always Special Summon it and then the second half is a killer effect. I made it tougher to summon so that it could only support 1 archetype, its own. Other than that, the idea isn't bad.

Alright, I shall reword it once again, and I shall focus on the first part of the effect...which apparently very few got. Or perhaps I've overlooked something, so would you care to elaborate again?

Also, I do remember you, but it has been awhile.

Inverz are based around Tributing their own, so your effect makes sense. Just copy it off the other Inverz monsters.

Technically speaking Inverz Lv5-6 usually have a name beginning with 'M', but the current name suits a good pic.

Think it's a small price to pay to negate any effect, but it can't be widely abused because it needs an 'Inverz' Tribute, so it fits archtype, snug as a (evil) bug.

I have edited the effect, once again. I also added something I forgot to add earlier, and I think I made it clearer, or at least I hope so. Thanks for posting twice Flandre, as irritable as I may seem I'm quite glad for it.

Damn >> Everyone took my comments ><

Well it's reasonably balanced. The only edit I saw necessay was the Special Summon restrict and the summon require. Everything else could have stayed the same. It's effect is very Inverz. The picture is iffy thought but still good.

Concern though ;3~

It's name.

Inverz monsters that require only 1 Tribute start w/ M. (Possibly meaning Middle or Medium as in Summon difficulty)
Inverz monsters requiring 2 Tributes start w/ G. (Possibly for Greater as in summoning difficulty)

Just something to think about ;D You don't have to change it.

Thanks Lovely C.C. :D
I know about the name thing, how M = Middle and G = Great, or at least that's how it is right now, so it should probably start with an M. The problem is that most of those name are also warped versions of the Insect they represent (Morcth = Moth, Madith = Mantis, etc.) so I have to figure out how an Insect that this resembles that starts with an M...and I have nothing for that.
