This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card returns to the owner's hand during the End Phase of the turn that it is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned, or flipped face-up. On your turn, you can pay 2000 Life Points to destroy all cards on your opponent's field. This card's effect cannot be negated. I might change it from a Plant-Type to a Rock-Type. I could change it to a Fiend-Type, too. Any suggestions? [/old question]

Hmm...well, for one thing, its overpowered. Like, lots. Bump down its ATK and DEF by, lets say, 1500.

The OCG is practically spotless. Impressive.

Change it to Rock. In my eyes, it fits better.

Card effect is useful.

Good work. 7/10. I might raise it higher if you change the ATK and DEF accordingly.

Mhh, looks like an intersting card, but what exactly do you mean with "negate and destroy" do you mean that it's activation cannot be negated or that you also negate the effects of all cards destroyed?

Also 4000/4000 is way to high for such an effect, 2700/2000 or something in that region would do fine.

Mako109: Thank you, and thank you for the suggestions. I'll change it to a Rock-Type. I originally chose Plant-Type because the monster had roots connecting its body to the ground. What if I lowered its ATK and DEF to 3000 instead? In my eyes, it doesn't seem overpowered. You either get one attack from a 3000-ATK monster after sacrificing two monsters to summon it, or you can use its effect, clear the opponent's field, and inflict 1500 Direct Damage before its returned to your hand. Maybe 1500-ATK is a little too much for a Direct Attack? I'm not sure.

Lexadin: Well, basically, from the way I worded the card, when you activate the "Eye of Aegis" effect, all cards on the opponent's field are negated and destroyed (so no Traps or Counter Traps), and the "Spell Cards are negated..." just means Quickplays are useless, and all your own Continuous Spell Cards are useless for one turn. Is there another way I can word it without losing precise clarity?

I'll fiddle around with the card stats and upload the new version in a bit in this thread. Thanks for the input, again.

EDIT: I switched up the effect. I don't know if it's better or worse, but we'll see. I also changed its ATK and DEF from 4000/4000 to 2400/3000. So, if you don't use the card's effect, you get one 2400-ATK at the expense of two monsters. If you DO use its effect, you clear the opponent's field and inflict 1200 Direct Damage. However (due to the rewording of the card), you can now possibly use a card like "Shield & Sword" to inflict an extra 300 Direct Damage if you use its effect.
