---------------
Omigosh, I'm so sorry for you guys. There's no worse fate than memory loss. My great-grandma had alzheimers. The last time she remembered her name was about 4 years ago. She died last year.

Juuzou
Having a grandparent with Alzheimers, it isn't as bad as you think. Don't get me wrong, it's still bad, but the symptoms normally creep in slowly with medication and you'll have time to adjust. It's just when it gets really bad that you need to start worrying. I doubt she'd take that medicine, as she thinks her doctor was wrong.

.Frostpaw
man sorry for greatgrandma know how it feels mines going through numonai
I believe it's spelled pneumonia, and I'm so sorry to hear that. My uncle was in the hospital like at least 3 times with pneumonia when he was 2-3. Not too long after, he had to have his tonsils removed. Since he turned 18, he went on a self-destructive path including alcohol and drugs.

Ieyasu Tokugawa
Don't worry, it could be a lot worse. I for one never got to meet my Grandpa because he died a month before I was born. It still sucks though. I hope you and your family can get through this.

I hope with all my heart that you can recover, because the worst thing after getting a disease is going into shock because someone else got a disease.
