She rarely takes her medicines, and insists that she takes all of her medicine even when someone shows her the leftover medicines. I doubt she'd take that medicine, as she thinks her doctor was wrong.

I believe it's spelled pneumonia, and I'm so sorry to hear that. My uncle was in the hospital like at least 3 times with pneumonia when he was 2-3. Not too long after, he had to have his tonsils removed. Since he turned 18, he went on a self-destructive path including alcohol and drugs.
