Limited Edition KING Posted November 27, 2010 Report Share Posted November 27, 2010 I find the Universe Mode frustrating and confusing at times. Like it's frustrating when a superstar interferes in EVERY match you play in and that the ref goes straight to him/her when they are not even touching the ropes. It's also confusing when that superstar is one of your allies and an enemy of your opponent but still distracts the ref when YOU go for the win. I love the physics engine in the game though. You could really say it's your fault for everything going wrong in Universe mode, if this 'The game watches your every move and creates a unique experience around how you play' is true. Currently after moving everyone I had on Free Agent into Tag Teams to get some Unified Tag Title Reigns going, it's been alright. I couldn't be bothered getting Miz up in the rankings for Barrett's title so I made him Champion in the Title settings. Finally finished my IC match at HIAC. This year is more of a tutorial year until I get some hardcore feuds going after I unlock some more Superstars, this mode has had me hooked, I haven't completed a RTWM yet. So much so that I even paid the $10 for the Fan Axxess DLC. I play on Legend Difficulty all the time. In WWE Universe, my CAW Zero is the current reigning US/Unified Tag/ and WWE Champ. I gave him the same personality that I gave him in 2009 and 2010 and apparently in WWE Universe, that personality translates into a villanous one. He has 5 Rivals (Shawn michaels, edge, Miz, Triple H, and Cena) and no allies :/ I've defended the US title 7 times already, once against Zack Ryder and SIX TIMES against The Miz! SIX! IN A ROW! But now Sheamus is the #1 contender so the cycle is finally broken. I've only defended the WWE title 3 times. Twice against Shawn Michaels and once against Edge at Wrestlemania. I found it awsome that Edge won the Royal Rumble in WWE Universe, seeing as that he won the real life 2010 rumble. The Unified Tag Titles have been defended about 5 times. Twice against the Hart Dynasty and 3 times against Jericho & Miz. My Tag Partner is Ted Dibiase. I'm considering drafting Zero to Smackdown and i'm contemplating weither or not to make Zero lose the titles he has to start fresh on SD. EDIT: Sorry, I defended the WWE title 4 times. Step 1 - Go into Universe Mode. Step 2 - Simulate all matches on show. (DO NOT PROCEED TO THE NEXT SHOW) Step 3 - Exit out of Universe Mode. Step 4 - Go into Play Mode and select the Superstars/Divas and match you want to play as. Step 5 - A message should appear saying 'All matches for tonight are finished would you like to play this as the first match of the next show?' Select NO which turns Universe Mode off. To turn Universe Mode back on just go into the Mode and simulate to the next show and it turns back on. Repeat the steps if you want to turn Universe Mode off again. Hope this helps you guys if you just want to have a match without having to worry about rankings or interference. If you already knew this then just ignore this post as this is for those who don't know how to do it. ------------- I recieved a second controller for Christmas and played the game and was able to Chokeslam Mysterio with Kane through Two tables off the top of the ladder.
