Activate this card when a Spellcaster-Type monster with Spell Counters on it is targeted by a card effect. Remove all Spell Counters from that monster and negate and destroy the card targeting that monster. You can remove this card in your Graveyard from play to place 2 Spell Counters on 1 card you control.

Interesting effect.

Good with that thingy card, I can't remember the name of it at all... '1600ATK, remove 1 counter to destroy a Spell/Trap, pretty much a Staple for most Decks, Limited.'

Anyway, effect seems fair enough, pretty much a blocker, very useful for Spellcaster Decks (obviously).

So great work, got nothing to quarrel about.

Actually, he's at 3 again. He was banned at one point.

Let's see, good kinda effect. Just that it's targeting. Threats these days don't target. Many cards can pass this card that would destroy your Spellcasters. Long ago, cards that did target WERE threats. This card would've been more viable then.

Now, not so much. However, it's second effect me likey, probably the effect most likely to be used. The first effet seems like a added bonus compared to the second effect.

And is that picture of one of them Gem Knights? It really looks like so. They don't use Spell Counters, but it looks good here still.

I'll give you 8/10.

OCG / Common Sense:
OCG is flawless. No errors whatsoever.

Effect / Originality:
The first effect is quite simple from protecting any sort of Spellcasters from cards such as Smashing Ground and whatnot. Sorta reminds me of Defender, the Magical Knight in a few ways. Second effect is just as good for a great +2 Spell Counters to any of your cards, well, one card that is, at the simple cost of removing this from your Graveyard to play. It may be simple, but is very, very, effective in the right Deck. Concepts work quite well together and with the name of the card as well.

Usefulness / Balance:
I'd say it's quite useful. Seeing it's a Spell Card, a Quickplay to be more specific, it's much more flexible then cards that may have an effect somewhat similar or just as good as this ones that were either just a Trap Card, or just a Normal Spell Card. The card with such simplicity in my opinion, is enough to be balanced, seeing I don't see this getting Limited, Semi-Limited, and of course not banned. And even though some cards that are a bit threatening don't target, this card would still be a good choice to use. In the appropriate / right Deck, I'd use it at 2-3.

Ratings:
OCG / Common Sense: 2/2
Effect / Originality: 3.5/4
Usefulness / Balance: 3.9/4
Overall: 9.4/10

Naw :3 he looks like he's Gem but he's not. None have that flowy skirt thingy goin on.

Thanks though (: I get what your'e sayin about targeting lol I was talking earlier with someone about targeting cards. I wanted it to protect slightly not like >> hardcore. Cause this effects all card effect Monster/Spell/Trap I thought it might be OP with it negating any negative effects.

Thanks Anbu =D Always love getting comments from you ^^.

Smashing Ground doesn't target, Anbu. :/

I thought it did once, too. Same goes with Fissure.

But, I guess you could do something with the first effect, like depending on how many counters were removed, protect that monster from a certain threat(s).

Just a thought.

It doesn't? Ah well sorry for the bad example there.

The only things that I can remember that might be used today that target are Sakuretsu Armor, Dimensional Prison, PWWB, yeah I can't really remember that much. The only one used at of those 3 is Prison, and it's not a lot.

I actually liked the card, and it was used much back then when DAD was around...but now these days, not so much.

Yes Anbu, yes it does. Though I haven't seen that one as much either.

All I see is Mirror Force, BTH, LV, Smashing, Fissure, BRD, etc.

BoM Targets though and it's...well not used alot but it's used a fair amount of times.
DS targets too >> But i think I'm the only person who uses it these days.
>> Does Adhesion target?
BoM is a good example for this card. Same with Enemy Controller.

Adhesion doesn't, since your opponent can summon more than 1 and this one can respond to all.

DS, what was that one?
