Chill of the Glacier

The Ringmaster

Recommended Posts

Ok, so, I was looking through Jazin Kay's Album quite a few weeks ago...and I now realize why he's basically the deity of card images for YGO CM. o.o

So, guess what? I decided to make a series using his images, just like every single other person on here! XD

So, here's how the Glacier Corps work. They're basically a lock down group. Of what, you may ask? Spell and Trap Card Zones. Yes, I have done the unthinkable and have made a group of cards that literally convert Card Zones! I personally love the idea, although I think I did a little too much with it XD. So, I would like rates and comments on my cards, as to how effective they are. Note: PLEASE, do NOT comment on OCG, or, if you decide to, SAY MORE! I personally don't care that I use can instead of may, I just care if my cards are understandable, which is what you should comment on. So please, focus on other categories besides OCG.

Now, because I think my dad might shut off the internet soon, I'm going to post this, then edit it and put in the Glacier Corps. Please, enjoy!

Great idea, and not too extreme, since most of the effects have turn limiters. If I may make a suggestion, what about the reverse? Monster zones into spell/trap?
I wasn't really feeling the whole switch of Zones, making half of my cards make Monster Zones, and half Spells and Traps. Plus, it could really cut down on my imagination and original thought processes. If I were to do a making of S/T Zones, it'd be in another series. Still, thank you very much for the support and comments!

The ideas are great and the cards are cool. In my person opinion, you focused too much on changing spell/trap zones, and neglected the basics-ATK and DEF. The corps cards are good in a group, but none are quite as valuable without a lot.
Hmmmm...that can be true. I think that this series just reflects too much of my personal tastes. I like high level monsters with low ATK/DEF, and really cool effects. And that's what I inputted into this series. The top 3 Fusions, Theophanes, Olympius, and Arctic Fortress are the perfect examples. All have 0 ATK/DEF, and have really interesting effects, or I tried for that. Anyways, thanks for pointing out my errors, it helps. =)

Bumpy!

Like I said before, maybe a way to reverse their effects. If that doesn't work, may I suggest a counter-Archtype? I personally find some of my best ideas by looking at a series' weaknesses, and constructing sets around them.

Yes, thank you for the ideas, I already have plans for a FIRE based archetype with Zone conversion.

XD You know, I feel really lame. You're the only one who posts on here, even if your advice is really good. Thank you very much for all your support, I really do appreciate it.
