Regan Region Adventure!

Well, my friends and I are making a play, a Pokémon one, clearly. And, well, I decided to also write a story, composing of Flame’s, Sam’s and my adventure.
Only the main characters, Flame, Sam and Ashmin, are based on real people. The rest are all a figment of ‘Sam’s imagination, since she’s the one who came up with the idea! I also tweaked some things, so that, instead of Flame being the main character, as in the play, I will be.
Also, this is sorta based on the anime, but the region is 100 percent made up, trust me! And what Pokémon fan fic hasn’t got people going on an adventure?
[spoiler=Chapter 1: Getting Ready!]
Ashmin yawned, sleepily rubbing her right eye. “Finally morning!” She muttered, blinking sleepily. Getting out of bed, she trudged to the bathroom. Languidly turning on the tap, she cupped her hands under the running water, then lifted them quickly, so that water flooded over her face. With a smile, she stared at her reflection. Long, black hair and sapphire blues eyes set on a slightly freckled face sat in the mirror. Ashmin grinned wider. “I’m going on an adventure!” She proclaimed. Hr reflection smiled back. With a giggle, she walked downstairs, where the appetizing smell of bacon and eggs floated upwards. “Good morning dear!” She her mother cheerily, flipping one of the eggs over. “Hey Mum!” Ashmin said, equally cheerfully. Her mother walked over purposefully, setting a plate of the yummy bacon in front of Ashmin. “The eggs will be ready in a moment, then it’s off Professor Elm for that Pokémon you want!” Her mother told her. “And then off to the Regan Region!” Ashmin added, nodding. She dug hungrily into her breakfast, and when her mother sat down the eggs, Ashmin wolfed them down. Her mother shook her head with a laugh, but Ashmin didn’t notice. She was galloping up the stairs, two at a time, back to her bedroom. After 2-3 moments, Ashmin was jumping back down the stairs, wearing a red t-shirt, blue skirt with reached her knees, black boots and a white and pink backpack. “I’m all set!” She beamed. “You sure are. Now go out on your journey!” Her mother encouraged. Ashmin nodded, skipping out the door. Her mother shook her head. “I have a bad feeling this won’t go well. She’s too young to be out exploring. I mean, she’s only 10 after all!” She muttered worriedly. “I just hope she’ll be OK.”
Ashmin skipped the whole way to Professor Elm’s house. “Professor Elm?” She called, cautiously walking inside. “Ahh, Ashmin! Perfect timing! Choose your Pokémon!” The Professor said, gesturing to the machine. Walking up slowly, Ashmin saw three Pokeballs. Closing her eyes, she felt for one, and picked it up, feeling the cold, hard surface. Opening her eyes, she called, “C’mon out!” The red line of light came out of the ball, striking the floor. It formed into a small shape, and, when the red light disappeared, a small Pokémon had appeared. “Cynda!!” It exclaimed. “How cute! A Cyndaquil!” Ashmin cried, the small Pokémon rushing over. “Thanks Professor Elm!” Ashmin said gratefully to the professor, politely leaving him to his work.[/spoiler]
[spoiler= Chapter 2: All Aboard!]Ashmin rode as quickly as she could to Olivine City, skipping Goldenrod City and Azalea Town. As she rode through Ecruteak City she could see a tall tower, the Bell Tower, not to far off, the four Clear Bells hanging off the corners of the roof ringing cheerfully. With a smile, she continued, noting many other trainers heading that way too. Her black hair flying backwards in the breeze, she rode into Olivine, slowing down to avoid hitting anybody, then stopping completely she neared the S.S Aqua, her form of transport to the Regan Region. Smiling, she hopped off of her bike, and led it through the crowd of people milling around to docks. Suddenly, she was shoved aside, and she almost fell, gripping the handle of her bike for satiability. Looking up, she saw a small group of boys, the same age as her, pushing their way through the crowd, screaming with excitement. Shaking her head, she treaded carefully, and gasped as she finally broke out of the crowd. “Finally!” She muttered, pulling her bike behind her. The S.S Aqua rocked gently in the water right next to the dock. She smiled, her trademark cheeky smile. Glancing around, she saw a man in a ticket booth. Walking forward, she stopped at the booth. “Excuse me sir, can I buy 1 ticket to the Regan Region?” The man looked at her curiously. “Aren’t you too young? You look like an eigh-“ “Can I just get a ticket?” Ashmin interrupted through gritted teeth. You see, Ashmin is slightly, no, LOTS smaller than most kids her age, so everyone assumed she was eight. The man raised an eyebrow, but passed her a ticket nonetheless. She passed him the money, and went up the ramp onto the ship. Putting her bike in the ship shed, she leant over the rails as the ship slowly pulled away, and watched as families surged forward to wave family members away. She saw a little girl with brown plaits waving madly, and she sighed. “Why couldn’t Mother come?” She muttered angrily. “She could easily get her in 10 minutes, yet she’s too “busy” to see me off? It’s a Sunday, for crying out loud!” With another sigh, she turned away from the waving crowd, an went below deck. It would be a long journey.[/spoiler]

Personality:Solrac is mostly outgoing and stuck up but once you get to know him he is a real nice guy and really friendly. He is a strong trainer and a good supporter. He's been in some contest but won three only.Solrac is from the Sinnoh region and his main pokemon is Torterra.He's been in the isshu region, kanto regon and hoen region.
Appearence:He's 5 foot 4 inch. wears blue jeans and a black shirt with a blue jacket and red shoes. Brown hair and green eyes
Main pokemon: Torterra
Rest of the team:Sceptile, Typhlosion, pikachu, pokabu and tsurtaja

Personality:This guy is mysterious, he doesnt talk much but is a strong trainer, no one knows where he came from or when he came to the region, some people actually made rumors that he came from the past or future and that hes bad but hes not hes good. No one knows how he got 4 legendary pokemon
Appearence: Dark hat, brown hair, blue eyes, black shirt with blue shoes, a red coat and black jeans.

Appearance: Long, red hair, red shirt, and jeans, blue shoes, and blue eyes. Normally with his Kibago on his head and his hair goes down past his neck.

Age: 16
Personality: Quiet, but never one to back down from a challenge. Always known for being the smart one. Has the upmost respect for trainers that treat their pokemon right. Chase trys to learn everything there is about his opponents before battling them though.
Appearence: Chase is 6' feet tall. He is always wearing basketball shorts and a white t-shirt (unless it's a Bon Jovi shirt). He has long brown hair and hazel eyes.
Main Pokemon: Dragonite
Rest of the Team: Gengar, Torterra, Nidoqueen, Arcanine, Lapras

[b]Personality[/b]: Very quiet and reserved. He's rather shy, and often blushes and looks away when someone talks to him, especially girls.
[b]Appearence[/b]: Has shaggy brown hair, and brown eyes with gold flecks. Wears a white t-shirt with an unzipped black sweatshirt with white strings over top of it, a pair of blue jeans, and black and white tennis shoes. He is tall for his age
[b]Main Pokemon[/b]: [b]Togekiss[/b]--Grey's starter. Very cheerful and loves to play around in the sky and attack Grey playfully. Don't count him so short though, as Togekiss is a powerful and determined battler, and has even defeated Cobalon and Landlos in the past.
[b]Rest of the Team[/b]: [b]Ulgamoth[/b]--Has a personality and amount of power comparable to Togekiss. However, Ulgamoth is more often used in Contests than major battles (Not to say she can't hold her own against a Pokemon of Legendary caliber.)[/font]
[font="tahoma, arial, verdana, sans-serif"][b]Aggron[/b]--Almost totally unfeeling. Aggron is undoubtedly the most powerful member of Grey's team, but often refuses to battle due to his lack of respect for Grey.[/font]
[font="tahoma, arial, verdana, sans-serif"][b]Pikachu[/b]--Pikachu is rather interesting, as he has a scruff of fur on the widest corner of its tail, and a little nick on the flat portion at the top. Anyway, Pikachu is able to utilize Volt Tackle and Surf, making it a very good battler. However, he feels his full power cannot be awakened due to his inability to evolve, so he acts depressed a lot of the time and ends up not giving it his all in battle.[/font]
[font="tahoma, arial, verdana, sans-serif"][b]Tornelos[/b]--Grey encountered Tornelos one day when he was visiting his Grandmother near Fukiyose City, and was pitched in heated battle with it. Finally, Pikachu weakened it to the point he could catch it. Tornelos respects Grey a great deal, due to him being able to tame a Legendary Pokemon. He gives his all in battle for Grey, however his full potential has yet to be realized due to Grey not using him in battle much because of his extreme power.[/font]
[font="tahoma, arial, verdana, sans-serif"][b]Doredia[/b]--Doredia is very shy, much like Grey, to the point many people comment they could pass as eachother with the proper disguises. However, Doreida is no slouch, as it can preform graceful and powerful moves in either Gym Battles or Contests, making it a nevertheless valuable member of Grey's team.[/font]

Also, some Double C...
Comments--Very good. Reminds me of a James Patterson novel (They have rather short chapters, but are filled with details and other incredulous tidbits). I'm a big fan of how you don't just jump right to "ZOMGITSAPOKEMANZBATTLE!!!!!!" and actually drew up some blueprints before you built the skyscraper.
Criticisms--Honestly, a bit TOO short...I'd like it also if you divided up the lines the way you would in a regular book, what with new statements and concepts starting on new lines, etc. Still, I see very little wrong. Well done.
