zancrow the flame god
[b] what do you guys think? lore: 1 Dragon-Type Tuner + 1 non-Tuner FIRE monster When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, pay 1000 Life Points and Special Summon it during the next turn's Standby Phase. bloodreaper275
this is a pretty nice card. it is a bit overpowered in my opinion, but still would be a sick card to use. 9/

SuperNarb
I must say I agree with BloodReaper saying its OP, you get to summon this synchro, then keep summoning it making it gain attack, and deal damage to your opponents lifepoints with every monster destroyed. Then again you need to only use one fire type and a dragon type tuner so... Hmmmm 7.9/

Embittered Moon
I do not think that the effect that it comes back when you destroy it by battle is op, becaus the logical way do destroy a card this powerful is to use Tribute to the Doomed or something. I probably would downgrade the damage to half the attack, though. overall-7/

cardmaster791
i also think that it is overpowered but other wise i love the card i feel like if you payed more life points and the effect that it deals damagae equal to the destroyed monsters atk points is way too good for something already this powerful but if you got rid of that than the life points payment would be fine 7.75/
Incognito Italian980
A little OPed, but otherwise, it's great. 7.5/

~ P O L A R I S ~
The existing Phoenixian cards are both ominous-looking Plant-Types, so randomly dropping a gold "Burst Dragon" with JD's face into the archetype's fairly strained. As far as balance goes, I think it's fairly reasonable based on the specialized material. I get where people are coming from with the Flame Wingman effect on top of everything else, but if this were thrown into the current format it wouldn't be a problem. If its revival were triggered by card effects too, yeah it'd be a problem. As it is, it's fine. It's comparable to Colossal Fighter with a few extra pros and cons. With the Synchro Material, it's fairly unorthodox in that it's just "1 non-Tuner FIRE monster" as opposed to "1 or more non-Tuner FIRE monsters", but it'd still be perfectly correct, just something I thought I'd bring up in case you intended otherwise. The OCG is very good but it's always been something I've been particularly anal about, so humor me if you can. Citing Mosaic Manticore, I believe "Special Summon it during the next turn's Standby Phase." would be correctly phrased as "Special Summon it during the Standby Phase of the next turn." I know it's ridiculous, but if you're feeling like a perfectionist you might as well throw in the fix. Makes it immune to contest judges as anal as me finding it and penalizing you if you enter this into one. Also, you need a Set ID as there isn't an official printed card without one, so just for flavor's sake it's generally a good idea.
