·Toot
this seems kewl and all but i won't rate it until i fid=nd out what piercing damage is
.Ash
Sort of boring. A Legendary Ocean is needed for any real playability. ATK gain and Piercing is fine but not very creative. I don't like the suicide effect, the ATK build-up is fine, Piercing or not. Especially considering most cards won't last 3 turns anyway. OCG is fine but putting Piercing is just plain lazy. 6/10 for a half-useful meh card.
LiAM
Piercing isn't lazy it's normal. I don't care how creative or exciting it is. I wanted a powerful, realistic and usable monster.
N'r-Vhyn-Qwayz'ar
It looks like a snowman Calvin and Hobbes would make... Well if it IS going to suicide, at least give it something a little extra like returning it to the bottom of your deck or changing the battle position of a card on your opponent's side of the field, something mildly annoying but not too powerful like taking another monster with it. Other than that, it looks alright to me.
LiAM
It doesn't need any additional effects. At a Level 5 with Piercing, it's already a normal/weak(ish) card there. The ability to gain extra ATK as well as still have Piercing just makes it more powerful. The max ATK it can have is 2800ATK, but if you equips or Field Spell boosts, you could easily get an instant 2400ATK Piercing Damage monster... It seems I'm the only one to actually notice its usefulness in non-meta decks.
N'r-Vhyn-Qwayz'ar
In non-meta it's definitely useful and devastating. The problem is that it doesn't STAY useful and devastating after it gets it's normal, unmodified attack power because it DIES. If you use a Monster Reborn to revive it, it would just die in 3 turns again. Now if you had it return to your hand instead, then it becomes a REUSABLE devastating monster. Sure, you have to tribute for it, but it's better than having it just outright die, right?
LiAM
Monsters don't normally last more than 2 turns in a good game anyway.
N'r-Vhyn-Qwayz'ar
So what? If it does manage to survive 3 turns, you'd get it back if you replaced the death effect with a return-to-hand effect. It's better than just killing it off outright. LiAM
There are other ways to get a card back without itself.
N'r-Vhyn-Qwayz'ar
Right, right, whatever. This arguing is pointless, since it's clear enough you're not going to change the effect at all. Anyway, it's a decent card at least, great for water decks. 8/
LiAM
It's overpowered as it, but thanks anyway.
