Briton of Rose
I've decided to tear apart my old Quickdraw deck and try a new build, but I'm not sure if it's ready for tournament play. Your thoughts? As always: constructive criticism is welcomed, spamming/flaming could earn a neg rep. Mordred
How does the deck run?, I have my own variant of Quickdraw, do you manage to get out Shooting Star or Red Nova very often? To me it looks pretty balanced and effective.
Briton of Rose
How does the deck run?, I have my own variant of Quickdraw, do you manage to get out Shooting Star or Red Nova very often? To me it looks pretty balanced and effective.
Out of the first twenty duels, I managed Red Nova and/or Shooting Star seven times, and one time I got both out in the first two turns! Opening hand: Quickdraw, Junk, Dandylion, Double Summon, and Pot of A. Turn 1 Draw: Changer Synchron Pitched Dandylion for Quickdraw + 2 tokens. Summoned Changer, sync'd w/token for Formula. (drew Machine Dupe) Sync'd Quickdraw w/token for Drill, then sync'd Drill and Formula for RDA. Double Summoned for Junk, brought back Changer, big sync for Red Nova. Played Pot: shuffled Quickdraw, Junk, Dandylion, Drill, and RDA to draw 1-4-1 and Level Eater. Opponent's Turn Draws, plays 1 monster face down, sets 2, activates DD Gate. Turn 2 Draw: Junk Synchron Play 1-4-1, sending Level Eater for Tuningware. Activate Machine Dupe on Tuningware. Summon Junk, bring back Formula. Sync Junk and 3x Tuningware for Stardust. (drew MST, Reborn and Trunade) Play Trunade, chain MST to destroy DD Gate. Sync Formula and Stardust for Shooting Star. Reborn for Stardust. Shooting Star effect: reveal 2 tuners (both Quickdraw). Attack order: Stardust, Shooting Star twice, then Red Nova @5000 ATK for game. My oppoment sat there stunned for a full minute, then looked at me and said "Dude, that was FREAKIN' SICK!!!" (Twelve-year-olds; go figure.)
