This is my first set in years, so I think there might be some mistakes in the making, but overall I think it worked out pretty well. The set mainly focuses on card discarding and it is oriented in summoning the three Synchro monsters. All credit for the pictures goes to the artists that drew them. [b]

Once per turn you can discard 1 card from your hand to look at the top card of your deck. If it is a level 4 or lower Monster Card you can Special Summon it to your side of the field in Defense position, if it is not, put it at the bottom of your deck.

"Enlightened Crystal Skull" + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters Each time a card has been discarded, because of a card effect, this monster gains 300 ATK and DEF points. Once per turn, you can discard 1 card to destroy 1 Spell or Trap card on the field. When this card is destroyed by battle, you can send 1 other monster on the field to the Graveyard to Special Summon 1 "Y'Olk Mothership" from your hand or Deck.

You can send this face-up card to the Graveyard to Special Summon 1 "Ancient Astronaut" from your Graveyard.

When this card is destroyed by battle, you can Special Summon 1 "Yeti" from your hand or Deck.

When this card is Special Summoned by the effect of "Wandering Sasquatch" you can discard 1 card to destroy 1 card on the field. When this card is destroyed by battle, you can add 1 Level 3 or lower Tuner monster from your Deck to your hand.

"Enlightened Crystal Skull" + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters Once per turn, you can discard 1 Monster Card to lower the ATK and DEF of 1 face up monster to 0. This card can attack your opponent directly, if it does, the damage your opponent receives is halved.

"Enlightened Crystal Skull" + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters When this card is Synchro Summoned, you can discard all cards from your hand to remove from play all cards on the field and in the Graveyard. If you do, draw 1 card and add 1 "The Time Machine" from your Deck to your hand. When this card is selected as a target for a card effect, you can discard 1 card and remove this card from play until the End Phase.

If this card is Special Summoned by a card effect, you can Special Summon 1 "Will-'O-Wisp" from your hand or Deck to your side of the field. When this monster is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon 2 "Will-'O-Wisp" from your hand or Deck to your side of the field.

FLIP: As long as this card stays face-up on the field, your opponent must discard 1 card from their hand every time you discard cards.

Each player discards their entire hand. After 7 turns have passed (counting the turn you activated this card as the 1st turn) the duel ends in a draw.

Discard 1 card. Take control of 1 face-up monster your opponent controls. At the End Phase of the turn this card is activated, your opponent must choose 1 of these effects: - Return the monster targeted by this Spell Card to its owner's side of the field. - Show your hand to your opponent. Your opponent selects 1 card from your hand and adds it to his own.

Discard 2 Monster cards. Send 1 "Enlightened Crystal Skull" and 1 level 4 monster from your hand or Deck to the Graveyard. Special Summon 1 "Ancient Astronaut" from your Extra Deck (this Summon is treated as a Synchro Summon). It is returned to the Extra Deck during the End Phase of the 7th turn after it is Summoned.

Discard 1 card. Place 1 card from anywhere in your Deck to the top of your Deck. At the beginning of your Draw Phase, toss a coin and call it. If you call it right you can conduct your Draw Phase normally. If you call it wrong, send the top card of your Deck to the Graveyard, then conduct your Draw Phase.

Discard 1 card. Add 1 Field Spell Card to your hand.

Discard 1 card. Remove from play 1 card on the field. During the End Phase of the turn this card is activated, roll a dice. If the result is 1-3, the card stays removed and your opponent discards 1 random card. If the result is 4-6, the card is returned to its owner's side of the field in its original position (if it is a Spell or Trap Card, it is Set) and your opponent draws 1 card.

Each time a card is discarded because of a card effect place 1 Atlantis Counter on this card. Once per turn, you can remove 10 Atlantis Counters from this card, to return 5 cards from your Graveyard to your hand.

Discard 1 card. Select 2 face-down cards. Negate the activation of those cards' effects, if they are activated until your opponent's 3rd End Phase after this card is activated.

Activate this card only when your opponent activates a Trap Card. Negate the activation of that card and destroy it. During each of your Standby Phases you can discard 1 card and add 1 of these cards from your Deck to your hand: "Atlantis", "Nazca Lines", "The Bermuda Triangle" or "Stonehenge". Only 1 "Giza's Star Lock" can be active on your side of the field.

Shuffle 5 cards into your deck. During the Standby Phase of the 5th turn after you activated this card, send the top 5 cards of your deck to the Graveyard.

Activate only when "Vortex Kraken" is on your side of the field. Discard 1 card. Negate the Summon of a monster and destroy it.

Here is my review
[b]Rating:[size="3"] C[/size][/b] [i](very close to a B, but it is only a letter, who cares)[/i]

My overall opinion is that it may be just a bit OP'd with all the Special Summoning going on. I think there is too much Discarding and not enough support cards that interact with the Graveyard. However it is clear that this is a well thought out set, the cards work great in conjunction with each other. Now, about the names ... they are somewhat generic (ex. "The Haunted House" and "Nessie"), but considering most cards are based on "real" mysteries it is understandable. Some of the effects, especially those of the Spells and Traps, feel unconnected to the names and art. The art is somewhat lacking in my opinion, it is not as coherent as it could be, also some pictures have black frames, bad quality or are just plain boring. But this all feels like nitpicking, this is a great set.

[i][b]Lore/effect: 4/5.[/b] Some minor OCG flaws and spelling errors, but otherwise great.[/i].
[i][b]Presentation: 2/5.[/b] Generic names and uneven art.[/i]

[b]Ancient Astronaut & Mothership:[/b] The Discard effect is nice, but I think it is a little unfair to be able to summon a Level 5 monster with 2000 ATK from your deck as the result of a Level 7 monster being destroyed by battle, especially considering "Mothership's" effect.

[b]Giant Squid:[/b] For a monster with 2500 ATK to be able to attack the opponent directly for such a small cost I think is really unfair.

[b]Riddle of the Sphinx & Stonehenge:[/b] Really weird and rely too much on the human factor, I really could not see these being used in a serious duel.

[b]Mayan Calendar:[/b] This card feels like it is pretty much useless considering the fast pace of this set.

[b]The Bermuda Triangle:[/b] Maybe I am just being stupid, but it might be hard to keep track of which cards that have been discarded and which have been destroyed by battle or effect.


I only wrote about cards that needed criticism, do not get the wrong idea, I like most of the cards. Maybe I will add some more later.

The whole concept of the set is quite obvious and is a pretty cool concept though not that original but still is. It work well with each other and the effect is pretty balance though some are a little op. The OCG is impressive for someone who only had 17 post. The set is really a fast aggro power-up style which could get you a fast win. Now, to the cons of the set, being a set that mostly need many monster to be in the graveyard, the support is very lack. Since your naming the card based on the mysteries of the world, I wont go there. The pics is quite off and some just doesn't look like a ygc so next time, you can check out photobucket or devianart and even the image gallery in the showcase section here. So try harder dude.
