Confused by Points...

I'm confused. When you're on your profile and you click Points, is it the amount in the parentecies that is the amount of points you have?
Also, why is it that with some members posts, at the bottom of there post where the points are, some say 0 others have a large amount, why?

Percentage is probably to show the percentage out of the maximum of other points other members gained. The points thing is just a fast way to donate points to users by the post they posted.

Yes, the number in the parenthesis show's how many points you have. The other number is your points ranking.
I'm not sure about the second question, I'll have a look and see if I can find an answer.
