When you say "you may have that damage done to this card instead." what does that mean? Do you decrease it's attack or defense by the damage? Do you destroy the card? Needs an explanation.

Only other thing so far is can't=cannot.

the effect makes no sense, ill reword it to this .....
"this card cannot be destroyed by card effects. If you loss life points due to a card effect decrease this card's ATK by the amout of life points lost untill the end of your next turn. Gain 500 life points each time you take damage by a card effect".
you dont have to use what ill say but just change it so it makes sense 6/10 for now.
