aydane
here is my new spell card that will help in tight spots, might need help fixing up the effect.... Lore: The Monster equiped with this card cannot be targeted by an opponents monster. The Monster equiped with this card losses 200 ATK each of your Stand-By Phases.
DARKPLANT RISING
You do realize that if a card cannot be targetted by attacks, you can attack the player instead, right?
aydane
yes that would make this not that overpowered and so it all balance out i think

DARKPLANT RISING
Exactly. That's the bad part. The whole concept of Equip Cards generally force them to be overall underpowered. They rot like hell. They don't have speed. You have to give a -1 for a card that most likely isn't going to pay you back... Basically, being an Equp Card is enough of an downside. So you have to make an Equip Card "OP'ed" for it to be "playable". I recommend RC cards to be placed in "Playable" if they want to be considered good card makers. Equip Cards commonly used nowadays are, excluding OTK stuff, Supervise, Mark of the Rose, etc.. those stuff that are extremely useful and don't have downsides. Look at Supervise. Equip only to a Gemini Monster. It is treated as an Effect Monster, and gains its effect(s). When this face-up card on the field is sent to the Graveyard, select and Special Summon 1 Normal Monster from your Graveyard. Does it have a single downside? No, and it's a very playable card. Equip cards are okay like that.
aydane
so what i should discard this card and make a better card with the pic?
DARKPLANT RISING
No, you don't have to do that. My idea: Make the target card invunerable against the effects of Spell cards except the equip card itself and give it 3 or so kewl-ucantbeatmelololol-counters that can be removed to negate destruction by battle.
