[Spoiler=Chapter 1: Prologue to Salvation]
In a dream, Carly was seeing her Fortune Fairies being torn apart and transform into Fortune Ladies. Then she saw them combine their powers to form her old Earthbound Immortal Aslla Piscu.

"You will pay for betraying me!" said Aslla as it blasted an orange and black beam at Carly piercing her heart.

Carly woke up screaming, knocking over her deck in the process. As she picked up her cards she noticed they weren't the cute fortune fairies she had anymore but Fortune Ladies.

Then Carly ran around Neo Domino City screaming and in her pajamas. Then Sector Security arrested her for indecent exposure, disturbing the peace and running in your pajamas without a license.

The next morning She was picked up by Jack Atlas when he made her bail. The other signers were there too. Carly explained the situation.

"I believe you." said Crow.

Everyone was surprised.

"After everything we've been through, I'll believe anything." said Crow.

"I think Carly needs a Duel Spirit Quest like the one I had." said Luna.

"Will that work?" asked Carly.

"In theory it should." said Luna.

"Whatever it takes." said Carly.

After they all agree they decided to meet at the place where Carly's not-so-better half turbo duelled Jack: The tower of the hummingbird. Carly, Jack, Yusei, Crow, Akiza, Mina, Trudge, Leo and Luna sat in a giant circle around the tower. The plan was to use the tower as a spirit beacon so that their bodies can return to the physical world when they're done. Luna contacted the Ancient Fairy Dragon and asked to transport them to the duel spirit world. The dragon agreed and just as they were being transported, Stephanie arrives and jumps into the circle. They were already on their way and there was no turning back.

[spoiler=Chapter 2: Spiritual welcome]
Later the ten people arrive in the Duel Spirit world, right in the middle of an attack by the Fortune Ladies.

"Like, Ohmigosh! Destroying Stuff is like totally fun!" said Fortune Lady Light.

"If only people could see the destruction we have caused." said Fortune Lady Water sorrowfully.

"Quite possibly this is exactly like the fall of great many empires." said Fortune Lady Earth.

"And it's fun too." said Fortune Lady Wind.

Then Fortune Lady Fire noticed Caly and her allies had arrived.

"Hey girls, over here." said Fortune Lady Fire.

The Fortune Ladies then flew right down to Carly.

"Mistress Carly, what's up?" asked Fortune Lady Dark.

"I'm here to stop you and return you back to normal." said Carly.

The Fortune Ladies couldn't help but laugh.

"Come on, your defeat hat the hands of Sayer brought forth the ancient immortal Aslla Piscu." said Fortune Lady Earth. "And what you had started, we will finish here."

"I won't let that happen!" exclaimed Carly.

"Then you have sealed your fate!" exclaimed Dark.

Then the Fortune Ladies disappeared.

"I'm sorry." said Carly.

"So those were your monsters?!" shouted a mysterious voice.

It was Ancient Fairy Dragon and she was not too happy to see Carly

[spoiler= Chapter 3, Path to Redemption]

Carly was really nervous to see a real live duel spirit.

"Why are you here?" asked Ancient Fairy Dragon "This world is not meant for your kind."

"What do you mean?" asked Carly.

Ancient Fairy Dragon then showed an illusion in which both she and Carly were just shadows visiting the past.

"Your Dark Signer brother Devack sealed me away and sought to destroy the Duel Spirit world." said Ancient Fairy Dragon. "And now you must be here to finish what he started."

"No! That's not why I'm here at all!" exclaimed Carly.

"Then why are you here, Dark Signer?!" exclaimed Ancient Fairy Dragon.

The dragon stared into Carly's eyes and saw what was in her mind, including the fact that she did not become a Dark Signer willingly, nor did she have any intention of destroying the duel spirit world.

"I apologize." said Ancient Fairy Dragon. "I should have seen that the darkness within you has ben exterminated."

"It's ok." said Carly. "I'm just here to stop the Fortune Ladies."

"Yes," said Ancient Fairy Dragon. "It seems that the influence of the earthbound immortal Aslla Piscu has not diminished over your fortune fairies, even though Piscu itself was destroyed."

"That's right. I must stop them." said Carly.

"I'm afraid it's not that simple." said Ancient Fairy Dragon. "Each of your fortune ladies not holds dominion over a specific duel attribute realm. You must travel to each realm and try to eradicate the darkness within them. But you can't do this alone."

"I know. I'll do whatever it takes. I will bring the Fortune Fairies back." said Carly.

"And we'll all help." said Luna.

"Thanks." said Carly.

"You will need this." said Ancient Fairy Dragon as she gave Carly a duel disk.

"Thank you." said Carly.

"Good luck, you'll need it, if the fortune fairies are to be saved." said Ancient Fairy Dragon as she flew off into the horizon.

Carly's quest has now begun. Her first stop: the realm of light.

[spoiler= Chapter 4, The Lighter Side of Life]

The gang arrives in a world of light, similar to that of many light worlds like Sanctuary in the Sky.

"It's so pretty." said Mina.

"Yeah, it's nice, but we're here on a mission." said Jack.

"I'm on a mission." said Carly. "Let's go."

"I've never seen Carly so serious." said Mina.

"I can hardly tell with those telescope lens glasses of hers." said Steph.

Then Carly went back and bonked her hard on the head.

"I'm not in the mood right now!" said Carly.

"You didn't have to hit me." said Steph.

"That's right." said a voice.

It was Fortune Lady Light.

"We were hoping to find you." said Carly. "Let's go back."

"Why would I want to. I actually like being a hot Fortune Lady rather than a totally dorky fortune fairy." said Light. "But if you insist, a duel. Me and my two compadres. You win, I revert back, I win, you're gone forever. And to be like totally fair you can pick two more duelists to help you."

"Fine." said Carly. "I pick the twins."

"All right!" said Leo.

"I like his enthusiasm. Now let's go!" exclaimed Light as she and the others were trans ported to a beautiful castle that appeared right out of a storybook.

"We're here." said Light.

Then two beings appeared. One from Lightning and the other from Light.

"Meet my compadres: Zaborg, the Thunder Monarch and Kuraz, the Light Monarch." said Light. "They'll be duelling for me."

"She must've brainwashed them." said Luna.

"This will be superfly!' said Zaborg as he made a disco pose.

"Stop embarassing us." said Kuraz.

"No way that's awesome." said Light. "Now let's do this."

The Duel Disks were prepared.

"Let's Duel!" exclaimed Carly, Leo, Luna, Light, Zaborg and Kuraz.

[Spoiler= Chapter 5: The Duel of Light]

The duel was just starting, but before anyone could make a move, Fortune Lady Light explained Turn Order and Carly's restrictions.

"The turn order will be this: First Leo, then Zaborg, then Luna, then Kuraz, then Carly, then me and back to Leo. No one is allowed to attack on their first turn, you can tribute your teammates monsters and Carly must be restricted to only Light Attribute Monsters." said Fortune Lady Light. "Agreed?"

Everyone agreed.

"I'll start us off!" said Leo as he drew a card. "And I summon Morphtronic Celfon in attack mode!"

Then a Cell Phone appeared and it transformed into Celfon.

Morphtronic Celphon: Effect Monster, 1 star, Machine-type, Earth Attribute, ATK 100, DEF 100. Effect:● While in Attack Position: Once per turn, you can roll a six-sided die. Reveal cards from the top of your Deck equal to the roll and Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Morphtronic" monster from among them, ignoring the Summoning conditions. Shuffle the rest into the Deck. ● While in Defense Position: Once per turn, you can roll a six-sided die. Look at cards from the top of your Deck equal to the roll, then return them in the same order.

"And now I activate his special ability. Whatever number he lands on I can pick up any number of cards and if one of them is a level 4 or lower Morphtronic monster, I can special summon it." said Leo.

The numbers on Celfon's chest began glowing randomly and lit landed on a 4.

"Nice! A four! That means I can pick up 4 cards." said Leo as he did so. "And I got a Morphtronic Magnen. Check it!"

Then a magnet was placed in defense mode and it turned blue.

Morphtronic Magnen: Effect Monster: 3 stars, Thunder-Type, Earth Attribute, ATK 800, DEF 800. Effect: ● While in Attack Position: If your opponent controls a face-up monster, this card can only select their highest ATK monster as an attack target. ● While in Defense Position: Your opponent cannot select another monster as an attack target.

"I'll just play two cards face down and end my turn." said Leo.

"Then I'm, UPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!" said Zaborg as he drew a card and posed like a disco star and lightning and thunder sparked making him look dramatic.

"And I thought I was embarassing." thought Carly.

"And I summon my main man The Immortal of Thunder!" said Zaborg as he did so.

The Immortal of Thunder: Effect Monster, 4 stars Thunder-type, Light Attribute, ATK 1500, DEF 1300. Effect: FLIP: Gain 3000 Life Points. When it is sent from the field to the Graveyard you lose 5000 Life Points.

"I'm-a also gonna lay a rad face down and end my turn." said Zaborg as he moonwalked.

"This guy is a bigger dork than Carly." thought Mina.

"It's my turn." said Luna as she drew a card. "And I summon one of my old friends. Come on out Regulus."

Then the majestic Regulus appeared.

Regulus: Effect Monster, 4 stars, Beast-type, Light Attribute, ATK 1700 DEF 1000. Effect: Once per turn, you can select 1 Field Spell Card in your Graveyard. Return it to the Deck.

"Together we will win this duel and stop this tainted monster." said Regulus.

"Did that lion just talk?" asked Carly.

"Of course I am!" said Regulus.

"It's ok. She's with us." said Luna. "Please trust her."

"Very well." said Regulus.

"I lay two cards face down and end my turn." said Luna.

"Not before I play my righteous Trap Card, DNA Transplant and change us all to Light Monstas!" said Zaborg.

DNA Transplant: Continuous Trap Card: Declare 1 Attribute when you activate this card. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, the Attribute of all face-up monsters on the field become the one you declared.

"YOU IDIOT!" shouted Kuraz, "YOU JUST CANCELLED OUT LIGHT'S REGULATION!"

"I have a feeling these two don't get along very well." said Luna.

"Fine. I draw." said Kuraz "And unlike my partner I happen to take my duels seriously. You'll see as I summon Dunames Dark Witch in attack mode."

Dunames Dark Witch: Normal Monster, 4 stars, Fairy-type, Light Attribute, ATK 1800, DEF 1050

"I'll also lay three cards face down and end my turn." said Kuraz.

"Then it's my turn." said Carly as she drew a card. She then noticed all the cards in her hand were various Light Attribute Monsters. The cards must've been changed when the gang passed into the realm of Light. "I summon Queen's Knight in attack mode."

Queen's Knight: Normal Monster, 4 stars, Warrior-type, Light Attribute, ATK 1500, DEF 1600.

"I'll also play Double Summon to summon out King's Knight, whose ability activates. When Queen's Knight and Kings Knight are on the field I can Special Summon Jack's Knight." said Carly as she did so.

Double Summon: Normal Spell Card. Effect: You can Normal Summon 1 additional time this turn. You can only gain this effect once per turn.

King's Knight: Effect Monster, 4 stars, Warrior-Type, Light Attribute, ATK 1600, DEF 1400. Effect: When this card is Normal Summoned, if you control "Queen's Knight", you can Special Summon 1 "Jack's Knight" from your Deck.

Jack's Knight: Normal Monster, 5 stars, Warrior-type, Light Attribute, ATK 1900, DEF 1000

"This is so cool. I'm duelling with Monsters that Yugi used to duel with, or should I call him Atem, or..." thought Carly. "...anyway."

"I'll just play one card face down and end my turn." said Carly.

"About time. I could've like totally done my nails by now." said Light as she drew a card. "And what do you know. I like totally summon me!"

Then a copy of Fortune Lady Light appeared.

Fortune Lady Light: Effect Monster, 1 star, Spellcaster-type, Light Attribute, ATK ?, DEF ?. Effect: This card's ATK and DEF are equal to its Level x 200. During each of your Standby Phases, increase the Level of this card by 1 (max 12). When this card is removed from the field by a card effect, you can Special Summon 1 "Fortune Lady" monster from your Deck.

"But I've duelled with you before." said Carly "And all you ever do is summon other Fortune Fairies when you're removed from play, you don't do much else."

Then a black flame aura appeared around Light.

"How dare you say I'm worthless. I'll show you!" said Light.

"Wow, talk about a personality change." thought Carly. "However..."

"I'll just leave three cards face down just to keep you guessing." said Light.

"I thought so, she can't attack on her first turn." thought Carly.

"Then it's my turn." said Leo as he drew a card. "And what luck, but first, I activate Morphtronic Monitron."

Then in Leo's Spell and Trap Card Zone a video monitor transformed into Monitron.

Morphtronic Monitron: Continuous Trap Card. Effect: When a "Morphtronic" monster is Summoned, you can change it to face-up Defense Position.

"And now I can summon another Magnen. only he can be placed in Defense mode." said Leo as he does so. "And with my Magnen in Defense mode I've locked you two out. Now I activate Celfon's ability."

Then Celfon's numbers were flashing again and it landed on 5.

"All right! Now I get to reveal 5 cards, and one of them is another Morphtronic. So let's go Morphtronic Clocken!" said Leo.

Then Clocken was summoned in Defense mode.

Morphtronic Clocken: Effect Monster, 2 stars, Machine-Type, Earth Attribute, ATK 600, DEF 1100. Effect: ● While in Attack Position: This card gains 500 ATK for each Morph Counter on it. ● While in Defense Position: Once per turn, you can place 1 Morph Counter on this card. You can Tribute this card to inflict 1000 damage to your opponent for each Morph Counter on it.

"And now that Clocken is on the field in Defense mode I can place a Morph Counter on it. All I need is 4 and I can wipe any of you out in one turn and if it's in attack mode, it gains 500 ATK for each counter on it." said Leo. "I'll end my turn."

"Wow, clocken is rockin'." said Zaborg as he did what he did before, "But I'm gettin' started. I release my IoT to special summon my fabulous self. So come on out Zaborg the Thunder Monarch."

"WAIT!" said Kuraz

Just as Zaborg was being summoned something unexpected happened. Zaborg's Life Points went down to zero and he felt it.

"That idiot forgot that if Immortal of Thunder is sent to the graveyard he's dealt 5000 points of damage." said Kuraz.

"Ha ha, you lose Zaborg." said Leo.

"Now's not the time to make fun of the guy who lost because of his own mistakes." We still have Kuraz and Light to deal with." said Luna.

"And you'll see we won't make this simple." said Kuraz.

Everyone was on edge.

Leo: 4000

[spoiler= Chapter 6: Hikari Returns]

As the duel continued the duelists noticed that Zaborg did not disappear when he lost.

"It's my move." said Luna as she drew a card. "And I summon Kuribon in attack mode."

Kuribon: Effect Monster, 1 star, Fairy-type, Light Attribute, ATK 300, DEF 200. Effect: If this card was selected as an attack target by your opponent's monster, you can activate this effect during damage calculation. You take no Battle Damage from this battle, your opponent gains Life Points equal to the attacking monster's ATK, and then you return this card to your hand.

"I now end my turn." said Luna.

"Then I'm up." said Kuraz as he drew a card. "And I release my with in order to summon myself: Kuraz the Light Monarch!"

Kuraz the Light Monarch: Effect Monster, 6 stars, Warrior-type, Light Attribute, ATK 2400, DEF 1000. Effect: When this card is Normal or Special Summoned, you can destroy up to 2 cards on the field. For each card destroyed, that card's controller draws 1 card. This card cannot attack during the turn it is Normal or Special Summoned.

"And now that I`m summoned to the field I can destroy up to 2 cards, but since the controller of the card that was destroyed gets to draw a card for each one destroyed by my power, I will destroy two of my own face-down cards." said Kuraz as he did so. "Now I get to draw two cards. Unfortunately when I'm summoned I can't attack, consider it summoning sickness. So I end my turn."

"Well that was a lucky break." Thought Carly.

"It's my turn!" exclaimed Carly as she drew a card, and it was one that could help.

"My knight's aren't much by themselves, so..." Thought Carly.

"I play Polymerization!" exclaimed Carly. "I fuse together my three knights to create a super knight: Arcana Knight Joker!"

The three knights merged into Joker.

Arcana Knight Joker: Fusion Effect Monster, 9 stars, Warrior-type, Light Attribute, ATK 3800, DEF 2500. Effect: A Fusion Summon of this card can only be conducted with the above Fusion Material Monsters. Once per turn, if this card is targeted by a Spell Card, Trap Card, or Effect Monster's effect, you can negate that effect by discarding 1 card of the same kind of card (Spell, Trap, or Monster Card).

"Too bad Kuraz, you're just a sitting duck." said Carly. "Arcana, attack!"

Arcana was about to attack when...

"I activate Widespread Ruin to destroy your monster." said Kuraz.

Widespread Ruin: Trap Card. Effect: Activate only when your opponent declares an attack. Destroy 1 Attack Position monster your opponent controls with the highest ATK. (If it's a tie, you get to choose.)

"Sorry, but my knight's special power kicks in. I can negate and destroy your trap if I discard the coresponding type of card." said Carly as she discarded Ray of Hope, negating Widespread Ruin and allowing Arcana to destroy Kuraz`copy.

"You'll pay for that!" exclaimed Kuraz.

Kuraz: 2600
Light: 4000

"I think I'll end my turn." said Carly.

"Then I'm up." said Light as she drew a card. During Standby the copy of Light gained 1 level and 200 ATK.

"And I think I'll play Excahange and swap cards with my partner Kuraz." said Light.

Exchange: Normal Spell Card. Effect: Both players show their hands to each other. You both select 1 card from each other's hand and add it to your own. When the cards are sent to the Graveyard, they are sent to the Graveyard of the original owner.

Both Kuraz and Light exchange their cards.

"Next I play the spell Ancient Rules to summon an oldie but a goodie: Blue-Eyes White Dragon." said Light as she did so.

Ancient Rules: Normal Spell Card. Effect: Special Summon 1 Level 5 or higher Normal Monster from your hand.

Blue-Eyes White Dragon: Normal Monster, 8 stars, Dragon-type, Light Attribute, ATK 3000, DEF 2500.

"Now, who to target?" Thought Light. "Carly's got a powerful monster on her side of the field, and Leo's magnen prevent him from being targeted so..."

"Dragon, Attack Kribon!" said Light.

Just as the dragon was about to attack with it's signature White Lightning...

"I activate Kuribon's special ability. If it's the target of an attack I can bring it back to my hand and I gain Life Points equal to your monster's ATK." said Luna as she does so.

Leo: 4000
Luna: 7000
Carly: 4000
Kuraz: 2600
Light: 4000

The black aura appeared again around Light, and she began to look mean.

"I hate it when things don't go my way!" exclaimed Light. "AND I'LL MAKE YOU PAY FOR THAT! I end my turn."

"All right, I'm up!" exclaimed Leo as he drew a card. "And I summon Morphtronic Scopen."

Morphtronic Scopen: Effect Tuner Monster, 3 stars, Machine type, Light Attribute, ATK 800, DEF 1400. Effect: ● While in Attack Position: Once per turn, you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 "Morphtronic" monster from your hand. Destroy it during the End Phase. ● While in Defense Position: While this card is in face-up Defense Position, it is Level 4.

"And thanks to monitron it's switched to defense so now I can summon up something fierce." Said Leo. "I tune Scopen with Clocken and Celfon to Synchro Summon Power Tool Dragon."

Power Tool Dragon: Synchro Effect Monster, 7 stars, Machine type, Earth attribute, ATK 2300, DEF 2500. Effect: 1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can select 3 Equip Spell Cards from your Deck, have your opponent pick one of them at random, and add it to your hand. Return the remaining cards to your Deck. If this card would be destroyed while equipped with an Equip Spell Card, you can send that card to the Graveyard instead.

"And I activate Morphtronic Repair Unit to bring back Celfon in attack mode." said Leo as he did so. "And all I have to do is send Datatron to my graveyard."

Morphtronic Repair Unit: Equip Spell Card. Effect: Send 1 "Morphtronic" monster from your hand to the Graveyard and select 1 "Morphtronic" monster in your Graveyard. Special Summon the selected monster and equip it with this card. The equipped monster cannot change its Battle Position. When this card is removed from the Field, destroy the equipped monster.

"And now if I'm lucky I can bring my dragon to the next level. I activate Celfon's ability." said Leo as he does so.

Celfon landed on a 6.

"Yes, That means I get to draw 6 cards." said Leo as he does so. "And it's the card I need! I special summon Morphtronic Lighton."

Morphtronic Lighton: Effect Tuner monster, 1 star, Machine type, Light Attribute, ATK ??? DEF 200. Effect: ● While in Attack Position: Effect Unknown ● While in Defense Position: Once per turn, if your Life Points would become 0 while this card is face-up on the field, you can toss a coin and call it. If you call it right, your Life Points become 100 instead.

"And with him in play you're done Kuraz cause now I tune Lighton with Power Tool Dragon to evolve him into my best monster," said Leo. "Let's go Life Stream Dragon!"

Lighton tuned with PT Dragon to become the dragon of the signers, Life Stream Dragon.

Life Stream Dragon: Synchro Effect Monster, 8 stars, Dragon-type, Earth Attribute, ATK 2900, DEF 2400. Effect: 1 Tuner + "Power Tool Dragon"
When this card is Synchro Summoned, if any player has less than 2000 Life Points, you can increase that player's Life Points to 2000. While this card is face-up on the field, if a player would take damage from a card effect, you can reduce that damage to 0. Rest of effect unknown.

"Now Life Stream Dragon, attack Kuraz directly." said Leo as LSD did so. Kuraz lost.

Kuraz: 0

Light's aura became so black that the sun in the realm of light turned black.

"I WILL NOT LOST TO TWO CHILDREN AND A GEEK!" screamed Light.

"She seems real mad now." said Luna.

Then the scleras in Light's eyes turned yellow and she was really mad, as she was screaming tears came out of her eyes.

"I guess I'm up." said Luna as she drew a card. "And I summon Sunny Pixie and I use Two Synchro Boost cards, one for Regulus and one for Sunny Pixie."

Synchro Boost: Equip Spell Card. Effect: The equipped monster gains 500 ATK, and its Level is increased by 1.

Sunny Pixie: Effect Tuner Monster, 1 star, Spellcaster-type, Light Attribute, ATK 300, DEF 400.

"Now I tune Sunny Pixie with Regulus to Synchro Summon Ancient Fairy Dragon in defense mode." said Luna as she did so.

Ancient Fairy Dragon: Synchro Effect Monster, 7 stars, Dragon-type, Light Attribute, ATK 2100, DEF 3000. Effect: 1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner Monsters
Once per turn, you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower monster from your hand. You cannot conduct your Battle Phase the turn you activate this effect. Once per turn, you can destroy a Field Spell Card. If you do, gain 1000 Life Points, and you can add 1 Field Spell Card from your Deck to your hand.

"All I can do is end my turn." said Luna.

"I'm up." said Carly as she drew a card. "And I play two cards face down, and now my Knight will destroy Light."

Arcana Knight was about to destroy the Copy of Light but...

"I activate the special ability of Honest from my hand." said Light.

Honest: Effect Monster. 4 stars, Fairy-type, Light Attribute, ATK 1100, DEF 1900. Effect: During your Main Phase, you can return this card from the field to its owner's hand. During either player's Damage Step, when a face-up LIGHT monster you control battles, you can send this card from your hand to the Graveyard to have that monster gain ATK equal to the ATK of the opponent's monster it is battling, until the End Phase.

"Uh oh." said Carly.

The copy of Light destroyed her knight.

"I end my turn." said Carly.

"NOW IT ENDS!" said Light as she drew a card.

"I activate a trap: Just Desserts!" exclaimed Carly.

Just Desserts: Trap card. Effect: Inflict 500 points of damage to your opponent's Life Points for each monster on your opponent's side of the field.

"HOW DARE YOU!" screamed Light. "DRAGON! ATTACK!"

Just as the dragon's lightning was about to attack Carly directly...

"I activate a trap: Magic Cylinder." said Carly.

Magic Cylinder: Trap Card. Effect: Negate the attack of 1 monster your opponent controls and inflict damage to your opponent equal to its ATK.

"For give me." said Carly as tears came out of her eyes.

The lightning was redirected to Light. It connects. Light's eyes were wide open, then they began to colse.

Leo: 4000
Luna: 8000
Carly: 3600
Light: 0

Carly ran to Fortune Lady Light to try and comfort her but as she grabbed her hand Light vanished. Carly was shocked to see Light destroyed. She then began to break down and cry. Everyone couldn't help but feel sad. Then light particles began to form behind Carly in the shape of Fortune Fairy Hikari. She told them to be quiet, turned around and tapped Carly on the shoulder. She turned around and saw Fortune Fairy Hikari back to her old self again. She then began to break down again, but this time tears of joy were flooding out of Carly's eyes.

"I missed you so much." said Hikari "I just wasn't myself."

"It's ok." said Carly still sobbing "I'm just glad your back to normal."

Everyone was also crying tears of joy.

"Congrats home dogs." said Zaborg. "The darkness in Light is no more."

"Indeed." said Kuraz. "We knew you would be able to defeat Light, but don't expect the other Fortue Ladies to be so easy."

Kuraz gave Carly a special pendant. One part became yellow.

"Parts o' that pendant will glow when you beat the other Fortune Fairies." said Zaborg.

"Next is the realm of fire." said Kuraz. "Don't take the monarch there lightly."

Hikari decides to go with the gang as they head to the realm of fire.

"See you next time!" said Hikari.

It was over two days since Hikari became who she was.

"I almost forgot how adorable you could be." said Carly.

"You mean it?" asked Fortune Fairy Hikari.

"Of course." said Carly.

"Thank you." said Hikari

Hikari then used her powers to create a doorway that everyone went into. The door lead them to a world of fire and volcanoes.

"This must be the next place." said Crow.

"How right you are bird-brain and now your goose is cooked." said a mysterious voice.

Two fire geysers erupted in front of the group and from them came Fortune Lady Fire and Thestalos, the Firestorm Monarch.

"Well, I see you made it here in one piece." said Fire. "And judging by that little doll I'd say you beat my sister Fortune Lady Light."

"En." said Hikari.

Then Fire launched a firestream right at Hikari.

"If you're smart you will never call me that again." said Fire. "That really burns my biscuits."

"So I guess in order for you to be cute again I have to beat you in a duel." said Carly.

"Exactly, and Thestalos here will be my partner. Your partner will be her, the girl with the brown hair." said Fire.

"WHAT?!" screamed Carly. "I can't duel with her as a partner."

"I accept." said Stephanie.

"What?!" screamed Carly.

"I'm gonna prove to you that I am more worth of being Jack's girlfriend more than you are." said Stphanie.

"Is this really the time for that?" asked Carly.

"If you girls are done holding hands we'd like to kick your butts." said Thestalos.

The duel disks and decks were ready.

"Let's duel." said the participants.

In a dream, Carly was seeing her Fortune Fairies being torn apart and transform into Fortune Ladies. Then she saw them combine their powers to form her old Earthbound Immortal Aslla Piscu.

"You will pay for betraying me!" said Aslla as it blasted an orange and black beam at Carly piercing her heart.

Carly woke up screaming, knocking over her deck in the process. As she picked up her cards she noticed they weren't the cute fortune fairies she had anymore but Fortune Ladies.

Then Carly ran around Neo Domino City screaming and in her pajamas. Then Sector Security arrested her for indecent exposure, disturbing the peace and running in your pajamas without a license.

[b]Being in pajamas is hardly "indecent exposure", and the last part was obviously meant to be funny, but wasn't.[/b]

The next morning She was picked up by Jack Atlas when he made her bail. The other signers were there too. Carly explained the situation.

[b]Jack randomly paid her bail for a relatively minor crime, and personally went down to the station with the other Signers? Exactly why would Crow, Yusei, Ruka, or Aki even consider going there with Jack? Did he need support? No comment on the obvious Jack x Carly implication.[/b]

"I believe you." said Crow.

[b]From what I know of Crow, isn't he one of the most likely to be skeptical?[/b]

Everyone was surprised.

[b]Oh, because Crow's OOC, got it.[/b]

"After everything we've been through, I'll believe anything." said Crow.

[b]Why is Crow believing this again? It seems utterly irrelevent beyond "Carly had a bad dream and flipped out".[/b]

"I think Carly needs a Duel Spirit Quest like the one I had." said Luna.

[b]What? Why? What?[/b]

"Will that work?" asked Carly.

"In theory it should." said Luna.

[b]What the hell are you even talking about? Work for what?[/b]

"Whatever it takes." said Carly.

[b]For what?! You had a bad dream![/b]

After they all agree they decided to meet at the place where Carly's not-so-better half turbo duelled Jack: The tower of the hummingbird. Carly, Jack, Yusei, Crow, Akiza, Mina, Trudge, Leo and Luna sat in a giant circle around the tower.

[b]Why are Trudge and Mina there? And shouldn't the tower be, I don't know, crumbled like the others?[/b]

The plan was to use the tower as a spirit beacon so that their bodies can return to the physical world when they're done. Luna contacted the Ancient Fairy Dragon and asked to transport them to the duel spirit world. The dragon agreed and just as they were being transported, Stephanie arrives and jumps into the circle. They were already on their way and there was no turning back.

[b]Oh...Stephanie shows up for no reason. OH! Mina's here to make the Jack love contest between Stephanie, Mina, and Carly complete! Oh, of course.[/b]

Carly's deck now consists of Fortune Ladies which remind her of her being a dark signer. Now she's on a quest with some friends old and new in 5d's to turn them back into Fortune Fairies. Carly must travel to the Duel Spirit world to get them back and face the lingering darkness in her heart. She travels to the land of six attributes and challenges each fortune lady and monarch of an attribute and beat them. During her trials Carly has to partner up with another duelist for backup and she can't pick the same partner twice. Happy ending is guaranteed.

bump: Parts 3 and 4 are up. Carly has teamed up with Leo and Luna to duel Fortune Lady Light, Zaborg the Thunder Monarch and Kuraz the Light Monarch.
