Bahamut - Envoy of the End
Yeah, I'm in the cardmaking groove at the minute (except when it comes to my FF Set dammit ). Found the pic on DeviantArt by chance, it hasn't translated to card oh so well but whatever, think the effect suits it. I'm expecting cries of overpowered here, but I don't think it is. Lore: Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can select 1 Trap Card in your opponents Graveyard and Set it on your side of the field. When this card is removed from the field, destroy all Traps that were placed on the field by this effect, and take damage equal to the number of cards destroyed x 1000. CnC? Smesh
It's good. Probably wouldn't last too long, so it's not OP'd. Just powerful. Probably would be limited or semi though.
Bahamut - Envoy of the End
Thanks Smesh, you could well be right about semi-limiting, but it does all rather depend on what Traps your opponent has (although you can always rely on them having a couple of Bottomless Trap Holes and Mirror Force.) Althemia
Because using Mirror Force an infinite amount of times is fun, right?
.Ash
The effect looks pretty nice, it's just unfortunate that your opponent gets to know exactly what you've Set. That's the main thing about Traps, they're meant to be unpredictable. Using this removes the element of surprise somewhat and makes it easier to destroy. Fortunately, Heavy Storm is banned, leaving Set Traps a little safer, but there's still a fair few generic S/T destruction cards that can undermine this card. As a result, if you put what I mentioned with a low-stat monster and potential self-burning, it's UP'd in reality.
As highlighted below by Snow, you'd have the protection of it, but your opponent would know about it. Really, I think this card would be best of with Traps like 'Jar of Greed' and constantly recycling cards and using them almost immediately rather than having to wait for circumstance and the possibility of damage. Besides, how stupid would your opponent have to be?
It's stall, so no. Your opponent can't and probably wouldn't be able to do anything if you chose Mirror Force. I never said what deck you would run this in; this deck would probably be in a stall deck. If you don't run this in a stall deck, you're pretty stupid. I mean, this is awesome with Final Countdown, seeing as how the sheer fear factor of bringing back Mirror Force would be something that keeps your opponent from attacking or doing anything of the sort until time is up.
