Ieyasu Tokugawa
Meh, I tried. Pics from Jazin Kay's album.
•Like regular Effect Monsters, Excess Monsters go in the deck and are summoned from the hand. •Excess Monsters cannot be Special Summoned to the field from the hand or deck, and can only be Special Summoned from the Graveyard or the Removed from Play zone if they have been successfully Exceed Summoned first. •To Exceed Summon an Excess Monster you must release a number of monsters on the field with combined levels equal to the Level of the Excess Monster. Additionally, all monsters released must have the same Level as each other, and at least 2 monsters must be Released. For a Level 8 Excess Monster you must release either 2 Level 4 monsters, 4 Level 2 monsters or 8 Level 1 monsters. •An Excess Summon is considered to be a Special Summon. If that Excess Summon would be negated you can send all Released monsters to the graveyard instead of Overlaying them to prevent the Summon from being negated. •When an Excess Monster is Exceed Summoned, the monsters released for it are Overlaid on that card. For the purposes of a real duel this means that the released monsters are stacked underneath the Excess Monster while it remains on the field. •When an Excess Monster would be removed from the field by a card effect or by battle you can remove from play 1 Overlaid Monster on that card to prevent that Excess Monster from being removed. If an Excess Monster would be removed for a cost you cannot prevent that cost with Overlaid Monsters.

This card is also treated as an Insect-type monster. If this card is Special Summoned from the Graveyard, you can select 1 Insect-type monster in your Deck and overlay it on this card. During either players turn, you can send 1 overlaid monster on this card to the Graveyard to negate an effect that would target an Insect-type monster(s) you control.

If this monster was Special Summoned from the Graveyard, you can select 1 Plant-type monster in your Graveyard and overlay it on this card. Once per turn, when you Special Summon a Plant-type monster, you can send 1 overlaid monster from this card to the Graveyard to add 1 Plant-type monster whose level is equal to or lower than the Special Summoned monster's level to your hand. Ieyasu Tokugawa
the ocg can be fixed so it set right but these excess and exceed cards can be cool by the way i know you use a chaotic creature picture for the demonic tree card
1. Please tell me the OCG errors, you can't fix what you don't know. 2. I pulled it from Jazin Kay's album, if it's a Chaotic card, you should tell him that, but make sure you find the exact card before you go blaming people. Also, I forgot to put the link for excess conditions, but it's one of the stickies.

Ieyasu Tokugawa
Excess is a brand new mechanic that isn't in previous games. You can look at the sticky topic, but if you know the pokemon card game well enough, the overlaid monsters act kinda like energy cards. They're "equipped" in a way, but they do not take up any space on the field and are not in the Graveyard, Deck, hand or removed from play area. There are no cards to reference the excess mechanic from in the existing meta, so it might be a little confusing still. Also, I'll let Jazin know, but I don't think it'll matter much. judedudemude
okay i got most of the overlaid (i think) maybe a video is required to explain all of it maybe with examples as for the pic it really doesnt matter really i was just pointing it out because i work in yugioh and chaotic (they need bring back chaotic) they stop show chaotic i think but they still show yugioh on saturdays mornings

Lewk
i dont get the overlaid thing
The card is physically placed on-top of the cards used to Excess summon it. Also, nice cards. I see you made them with MSE, though I reccomend you get the correct font downloaded to make the text look better (see the cards in my sig). Also, KAMEN RIDER! Ieyasu Tokugawa
bump
I appreciate the support, but you're not supposed to bump other people's topics, I pretty much gave up on these since I pulled them straight outta my arse anyway. And to Lewk, the font's wrong because I was using verion 3.0, just now found out there's a 3.8 out and I now have that instead. Not sure on the Kamen Rider thing, never watched it and these were in Jazin's archive.

Also, download this: http://mtg.pifro.com/download/file.php?id=1836&sid=66b7cdaa3240bd4d8cbbd28d012f7d71 I trust you know how to install packs onto MSE. This pack contains new card templates (special ones, like the ones in my sig). They make Exceed monsters look cool.
