Ginko
Based on the critiques of an admin, i was able to create and edit new monsters that are just as amazingly powerful as before. i'll show you all the cards from this set currently whilst adding my own comment about the card as well. Have fun, tell me what you think, and please enjoy these cards. note that i will also be showing pictures of select amazingly awesome cards for your own entertainment I'll start with my one ritual monster along with its respective ritual spell card
1. King of the Apocalypse, Dark, 12 Stars Fiend / Ritual / Effect, ATK/DEF: ????/???? This card can only be special summoned by using the card, "The Coming of the King". This monster cannot be destroyed by your opponent's magic, trap, and monster's effects. You may sacrifice this monster in order to shuffle up to 10 cards from your graveyard plus cards removed from play into your deck. Idk if i have to have the ritual card's effect on the actual ritual monster as well, but until i'm told what way it has to go i'll just keep it that way 2. The Coming of the King Ritual Spell This card is used to summon "King of the Apocalypse". You must sacrifice 3 or more "of the Apocalypse" monsters to summon "King of the Apocalypse" who's total ATK points equal 6000 or more from your hand or the field. The combined total of the levels of the monsters X150 will equal the ATK and DEF points of the monster being summoned. well now that we know the max atk and def this monster can be is 5400, and even that is extremely unlikely, so a good monster with a good effect having decent ATK and DEF pts aint bad
and that wasn't even the most powerful monster! wait till you see these synchro monsters!
1. Angel of the Apocalypse, Dark, 7 Stars, Fairy / Synchro / Effect ATK/DEF 2600/2450 1 "of the Apocalypse" Tuner + 1 or more "of the Apocalypse" non-tuners For every monster on your opponent's side of the field, you may draw that many cards from your deck at the time of this monster's summoning pretty good monster, but idk if the effect would be legal or not... 2. Black Horseman of the Apocalypse, Dark, 8 Stars Fiend / Synchro / Effect, ATK/DEF: 2500/2000 1 "of the Apocalypse" Tuner + 1 or more "of the Apocalpyse" non-tuner monsters Your opponent cannot use field magic cards Being the horseman of plague, i figured that this would be a good enough effect or if it should be extended to all magic and trap cards on your opponent's side of the field 3. Pale Horseman of the Apocalypse, Earth, 8 Stars Fiend / Synchro / Effect, ATK/DEF: 1600/3200 1 "of the Apocalypse" Tuner + 1 or more "of the Apocalpyse" non-tuner monsters During the end phase of your turn you must send one card from yours and your opponent's side of the field to the graveyard as long as this monster is on the field. Being the horseman of death, i found this effect appropriate, and fair... but not going to be the favorite monster to be summoned to the field 4. Red Horseman of the Apocalypse, Fire, 8 Stars Fiend / Synchro / Effect, ATK/DEF: 2400/1900 1 "of the Apocalypse" Tuner + 1 or more "of the Apocalpyse" non-tuner monsters Monsters on your opponent's side of the field lose 500 ATK and DEF points while this monster is on the field. Horseman of war, probably the favorite synchro monster to summon in this deck so far 5. White Horseman of the Apocalypse, Light, 8 Stars Warrior / Synchro / Effect, ATK/DEF: 2550/1600 1 "of the Apocalypse" Tuner + 1 or more "of the Apocalpyse" non-tuner monsters Monsters on your side of the field lose 500 ATK and DEF points while this monster is on the field, except for this monster. horseman of Civil war: now the least favorite synchro monster to be summoned, but will pay off when i reveal future monsters...... > 6. Survivor of the Apocalypse, Dark, 11 Stars Fiend / Synchro / Effect, ATK/DEF: XX00/XX00 2 "of the Apocalypse" Tuners + 1 or more "of the Apocalypse" non-Tuners This monster is not affected by your opponent's magic, trap, and monster's effects. For every magic card in your graveyard, this monster gains 300 DEF points. For every trap card in your graveyard, this monster gains 300 ATK points. If special summoned from the graveyard, all monsters on your side of the field are not affected by your opponent's spell, trap, and monster card effects. You may discard one card from your hand to destroy two cards your opponent controls. You can only use this effect once per turn. When you use this effect you must skip your next main phase 1. When this monster is destroyed in battle, remove it from play. It may not be brought back from out of play by any other effect. Edited once, this monster will still bring the hurt, but at a hard to pay price. if played late in the game would have a very high atk and def power, which is also why i created a magic card designed to get this on the field late in the game... but very late in the game. this card will be shown later in this post...
Now it is time to post the pride-and-joy of this fine archetype, by showing you the extremely hard to summon but extremely well-to-do cards in the fusion summon pile!
1. Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, Divine, 12 Stars Fiend / Fusion / Effect, ATK/DEF: 6000/6000 "White Horseman of the Apocalypse" * "Red Horseman of the Apocalypse" * "Black Horseman of the Apocalypse" * "Pale Horseman of the Apocalypse" This monster can only be fusion summoned using the above fusion material monsters. This monster is unaffected by the effects of spell, trap, and monster cards. Your opponent may not use a field magic card; monsters on the owner's side of the field lose 500 ATK and DEF points; monsters on your opponent's side of the field lose 500 ATK and DEF points; during the end phase of your turn you must destroy one card on your side of the field and on your opponent's side of the field. now THIS monster is a prime example of extremely hard to summon, but extremely good to have especially if you have a chance to turn the duel around and give yourself an edge. 2. The Great Dragon of the Apocalypse, Dark, 12 Stars Dragon / Fusion / Effect, ATK/DEF: 4500/4300 Earth Dragon of the Apocalypse * Dark Dragon of the Apocalypse * Light Dragon of the Apocalypse * This monster can only be summoned with the above fusion material monsters and polymerization. Once this card is summoned, remove the three dragons of the Apocalypse from play. It is not affected by any opponent's trap, spell, or monster's effects. This monster may be removed from play to bring back up to 3 "of the Apocalypse" monsters from the graveyard, to the field. If it is sacrificed in this way you may bring it back from out of play when the three monsters are destroyed. If this monster is destroyed, it is removed from play or you may sacrifice 5 monsters from your hand and field to keep this monster on the feild. If it is removed from play as a result of battle, you may special summon one "of the Apocalypse" monster to the field from the graveyard. now this amazingly powerful guy is also very hard to summon but is well-worth it in the end with a devastating effect. Definitely a good decision in making this
Sorry folks, but come back tommorow to view the other monsters, and the magic/trap cards of the apocalypse because instead of hitting preview i accidentally hit the publish button :'( Link to comment
Ginko
Alrighty, day two of posting. This is when i'll post the monsters, magic, and trap cards. Have fun looking and feel free to post your own opinions
1. Beasts of the Apocalypse, Dark, 6 Stars Beast / Tuner, ATK/DEF: 2400/1300 During your standby phase you may activate this monster's effect. If its effect is activated then you may not conduct your battle phase. This monster can attack your opponent's life points directly. Pretty straightforward, great effect. overall i think my favorite non-amazingness card 2. Champion of the Apocalypse, Dark, 7 Stars Warrior / Effect, ATK/DEF: XX00/550 This card's ATK is equal to the total combined Level of "of the Apocalypse" monsters in your Graveyard. May be a little too strong if played late in the game, but a quick "shield and sword" could easily turn things around 3. Dark Dragon of the Apocalypse, Dark, 6 Stars Dragon, ATK/DEF: 2200/1300 The dragon of the darkness that forced the beginning of the apocalypse. Only he knows how it shall end. overall the average dragon, could work well in any dragon deck, but not all dragons can fuse together to summon the great dragon, am i right? 4. Demons of the Apocalypse, Dark, 4 Stars Fiend, ATK/DEF: 1600/1500 The dark army of the Apocalypse attacks the weak and ravages the lands. a basic card... yeah 5. Dragon Enchanter of the Apocalypse, Dark, 4 Stars Spellcaster / Effect, ATK/DEF: 1100/1050 FLIP: You may special summon one "Dragon of the Apocalypse" from your deck to the field. Your deck is then shuffled. Pretty good if you have the other dragons on the field and polymerization in your hand. otherwise just good in a pinch 6. Earth Dragon of the Apocalypse, Earth, 5 Stars Dragon, ATK/DEF: 1000/2400 The dragon of the earth that forced the beginning of the apocalypse. Only he knows how it shall begin. a strong defender, once again: same comment as above can be applied. 7. Innocent Survivor of the Apocalypse, Earth, 3 Stars Fairy / Tuner, ATK/DEF: 150/1500 This monster cannot be destroyed by battle if it is in face up attack position. effect only useful if you have alot of waboku or spirit barrier on the field otherwise a good monster 8. Light Dragon of the Apocalypse, Light, 7 Stars Dragon, ATK/DEF: 2650/1900 The dragon of light that forced the beginning of the apocalypse. Only he knows what shall happen. another basic dragon etc. etc. one of my better cards created 9. Spirit of the Apocalypse, Dark, 5 Stars Spirit / Effect, ATK/DEF 200/XX00 For every monster of the Apocalypse in your graveyard, this monster gains 100X the number of stars DEF points. good card. getting lazy with comments i know, but really not much to say but the fact that this should only be summoned late in the game 10. Zombies of the Apocalypse, Dark, 1 Star Zombie / Tuner, ATK/DEF: 150/50 At the end phase of the turn in which this monster was summoned, put it back into the owner's hand. You may special summon this monster in your opponent's main phase. idk if the second part of the effect is legal, but i just thought that it would put a nice twist on the battle if that were to happen.
And now for the cards that support this archetype and help to win its battles: the spell and trap cards
1. Apocalyptic Scare Trap If your opponent declares an attack on an "of the Apocalypse" monster you can negate the attack and gain LP equal to the attacking monster's DEF points. great for gaining back LP you MAY have lost during the course of this battle 2. Apocalyptic Trap Counter Trap If your opponent designates an "of the Apocalypse" monster as the target of a spell or trap card, change the card's effect to "send one monster card from the controller of this card's hand to the graveyard." Pretty good effect eh? i know i'd use this card as many times as possible just to piss off my opponent Don't know if its legal, but i don't want it to be just like a DT specific to my monsters do i? Gotta add some flair! 3. Armageddon Field Spell Every "of the Apocalypse" monster gains 400 ATK and DEF points. All other monsters lose 200 ATK and DEF points. Your opponent may not place another field spell card on the field. Edited once already, this card helps to cripple your opponent by not only making it that much harder to destroy this card, but also with the ATK/DEF point bonuses as well 4. Chaos of the Apocalypse Spell For every "of the Apocalypse" monster in attack mode on your side of the feild, your opponent looses 500 lifepoints. At max, 2500 LP lost, so not too good of a card; just like "just desserts" but with a cooler picture 5. Climax of the Apocalypse Spell Send your entire hand and 5 cards from the top of your deck into the graveyard. You may special summon up to two "of the Apocalypse" monsters from the graveyard to the field. If you do not have 5 cards in your deck, you may discard this card straight from your hand to the graveyard and draw another card. You cannot summon a monster discarded in this way. my personal favorite spell card for this deck so far, lets you summon any powerful monster from the graveyard such as the great dragon or survivor. my comment: LOVE IT 6. Demon Sword of the Apocalypse Equip Spell Equip this card to an "of the Apocalypse" monster. The equipped monster gains 1000 ATK and DEF. If you attack with the equipped monster then you must skip your next draw and standby phase. highly boosts the stats, but a dabilitating effect that most would not cross. unless you are close to the bottom of the deck and don't wanna draw a card. strategic and powerful. dat's niice! 7. End of Armageddon Spell If you have more than 50 cards in your graveyard then you may special summon "Survivor of the Apocalypse" from your extra deck in face up attack position. This monster can attack twice in the first turn it is special summoned. If you do not have more than 50 cards in your graveyard you may special summon "Innocent Survivor of the Apocalypse" from your deck in face up defense position. this card, designed to kick your ass, will definitely turn the tide of any battle late in the game. probably would cause lame-duck game in the end, but definitely a great way to win when nearly drawn-out of the game 8. Horses of the Apocalypse Continuous Spell Increase the ATK and DEF points of all "Horseman of the Apocalypse" on your side of the field by 500 points. good card for these now even more powerful monsters. it obviously wouldn't effect the "four horsemen" monster but it would still be good for all the others
These were my cards, and i hope you really enjoyed them thanks for reading, comment PLEASE! I LOVE FEEDBACK: especially from admins who know the game better than me thanks again, please comment, have fun, and if you have ideas for other cards for this archetype, message me or email me THANKS!!!!
