HaouJudai
This build has been giving me some really good results. If any of you run evil heroes/elemental this is a fun build. Stratos Prisma Voltic Woodsman Ocean Sparkman Clayman Malicious Edge x2 Sangan Big Piece Golem Pashul x2 King of the Swamp x3 Dark Calling x3 Miracle Fusion x2 Polymerization Future Fusion E Emer Call x3 Rota Gold Sarc Reborn Fiendish Chain x2 (can't use skill drain) Threatening Roar x3 Dark Bribe x2 Mirror Force Call of the Haunted Mix of Synchros/Fusions I did have bottomless over the fiendish chains but they didn't work towards the goal of the deck as well. The idea is to reach back to the big city days and keep ocean and woodsman alive long enough to do what konami designed them to do. Replenish depleted hero hands. I've been having good results but I wonder if the backfield could be better. I don't like divine wrath because my hands hurt enough already - chain stops an attack and an effect - it also puts their monster on the field which most would prefer them to be in the hand or yard. I don't use chain on obvious synchro material monsters - I will wait until the synchro appears and lock it down instead. Another option I've considered is forbidden chalice. another backfield option for this deck is this: Bottomless x2 Warning x2 Mirror Solemn Judgment COTH D Prison x2 Also I'm not using obvious format staples like dark hole and monster reborn. If I were competing more seriously I'd put them in but this deck is being used for a different goal. Are there any big city users out there who have insight on how to preserve/abuse the woodsman/ocean mechanic?
Legend Zero
Why not just dump with Prisma then replenish? If that is your goal then needs more Prisma.
HaouJudai
I had 2 - Voltic was actually a Prisma - i found in testing that one Prisma seems to stay alive long enough to do the trick - I added voltic because I wanted a more toolboxy feel. so you're ok with either backfield choice? Legend Zero
Chains should be fine since this format lacks Spell/Trap destruction. 2 sarcs seems like a lot...I know you said but why not Reborn or Hole for one?
HaouJudai
Yeah I could do that - I'll go with reborn then
