I will try to see how it looks without the sword, although I like it... About the light, I hadn't thought about that, it seems good to me... Catman25 Posted December 29, 2010 Report Share Posted December 29, 2010 Personally I'd say cut out the text. It isn't entirely necessary; even I don't normally use it. But you can do a ton of things to make it look better. Mix up the fonts, use different colors, etc. Using clipping mask text could also turn out interesting. =/ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The font I'm using seems perfect for tags, if I use something fancier it will be meh, if I use another simple one, it won't have much of a difference... ...and what I'm doing is pretty much a clipping mask of the tag with a font outline... 'Cause generally the consensus for a lot of people is that text is a filler and a necessity. Check out 25000st's thread, like two below this one (the first thing that popped into my head.) Currently I am trying to practice monochrome effects, because with my skill, if I used more than 1 main color, it would look meh. As for the borders, I can't decide which version (border or not) I like the most, so I'll have to post both of them for each tag... *Fieryfield added! *Psychic added!
