-L- Posted December 30, 2010 Report Share Posted December 30, 2010 Hi. I came up with new idea for a monster, that gains effects depending on how many tuners you used for it's Synchro Summon. However, I'm having trouble with it's OCG. This is basically the only way I can write it, (I know it's incorrect): Gilford The Inferno Synchro/Effect Level 8 Warrior- Fire ATK: 2000 Def: 2000 1 or more Tuners + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters When this card is Synchro Summoned apply the following effect(s) depending on how many Tuners you used as Synchro Material Monsters. 1- This card gains 1000 ATK. Up to 2- This card is unaffected by Traps. Up to 3- Destroy all Monsters your opponents controls. How would I make it so that the effect would stack? And how would I sort out the First Line, "Depending" is not used right? Link to comment
-Griffin Posted December 30, 2010 Report Share Posted December 30, 2010 The lore's understandable, which is the important thing, but I think you would want the bits at the side to say: [list] [*]1+ [*]2+ [*]3+ [/list] Other than that, it feels a bit lackluster. It's rare that people bother with multiple tuners, and at level 8, Stardust and Thought Ruler are available which both dodge traps well anyway. I don't see it getting much play. Link to comment

Personally I think it's rather good, although I might go for something different for the 3 tuner effect, especially since in most cases it won't be worth going through the trouble of using essentially 4 monsters, 3 of which are tuners, just to blow up the opponent's field. -L- Posted December 30, 2010 Author Report Share Posted December 30, 2010 Okay so if its a bit underpowerd, how about: "3+ Return all cards on your opponents side of the field to the owners decks. " Does that make it too OP'd now? Will returning to the hand be better? Oh and how about making it level 9? That might make things easier. I think the best deck this card would suit would be a Fish Synchro deck, or Formula Monarchs. The amount of low level monsters they use can make a level 9 very easy. Fishborg+Fishborg+Fishborg+Monarch/ 2 Oyster Meisters, makes an instant feild wipe. But yeh, I understand why it's Underpowered. Link to comment
