♥Łövëły-Ċħän♥
Righteous Fiend is an Excess archetype. There are no Synchros just Excess monsters. All are Fiend. Nothing more to say. .Ash
Righteous Energy Looks pretty good. You can recycle a lot of Fiends with this but there's a pretty big possibility of this going to waste most turns. It is pretty flexible though, nice that bringing back RFP'd monsters isn't restricted by some daft "destroyed by battle" clause, makes it easier to use. I'd say Deck fattening is a fairly suitable drawback, all things considered. Righteous Fiend - Gluttony Again, fairly flexible to pull off the effect, can send it yourself to Overlay it (unless you've already emptied your Grave with Righteous Energy). Anyway, fairly simple effect, but nice support for your Excess monster. Righteous Fiend - Destrai I must say I really like this card. Got a nice, fairly unused SS effect and then... it's BoM in monster form. And it revives itself too. While it may not be as flexible as Book of Moon, it has a lot of uses and is pretty splashable too. Righteous Fiend - Ombre There are some practical uses, but in most cases it's a 1-turn Beatstick unless you work it onto Stygious somehow. Nice that it can SS itself while Overlaid and can run over most Wall's if need be. Righteous Fiend - Rouch Again, a few uses here, can help get bring back RFP'd monsters should you not have access to Righteous Energy. Helps to set up Overlays for Stygious as well, which is a nice bonus. Righteous Fiend - Stygious Looks OP'd to begin with. As well as Overlay's helping to protect it, it will pretty much always have it's Spell/Monster effect protection. Then it can carry on stacking effects with Gluttony and Rouch. Ideal situation, this card can almost attack at it's leisure and you could well be drawing 3 cards a turn. Thankfully Traps are still available to counter or it would be completely broken. I think it may need nerfing. Fiend's Catalyst A lot of choices, and some are better in different scenarios (/stating the obvious). Don't know why the effect for 2 & 3 Overlays are (seemingly) better than the one for 4 Overlays. I think bouncing seems pretty practical, and of course being a Quick-Play means it's incredibly versatile. Considering the target needs to be specific it just about balances out, I think. Overall, I like them, but Stygious seems a bit too OP'd.
♥Łövëły-Ċħän♥
Thanks snow (:. On Stygious I thought "This card gains 1 of the following effects depending on the number of cards Overlaid on this card" meant it could only gain 1 effect. Meaning even if you have 3 you can only select 1 of those effect for that turn. Thanks a ton though for the detailed feedback!! ^^
.Ash
:/ I blame myself for skim-reading. Point (sort of) still stands on Spell/Monster effect protection. More balanced than I first thought though.
