When the selected Equip Spell is activated, Special Summon this card. Frontline Soldier 03- Grenadier |EARTH|*4|Warrior/Effect|800/2000| Once per turn, you can discard 1 card from your hand to inflict 1000 damage to your opponent. Frontline Soldier 04-Repairman |EARTH|*2|Warrior/Tuner|500/800| By discarding this card from your hand, you can add 1 Equip Spell from your Graveyard to your hand. When the selected Equip Spell is activated, Special Summon this card. Frontline Soldier 05-Drill Sgt. |EARTH|*5|Warrior/Effect|2100/1600| This card can declare an attack during your Main Phase. Militant Scout |EARTH|*4|Warrior/Effect|2000/600 When this card is destroyed due to the effect of a Spell or Trap, Special Summon 1 “Frontline Soldier 0” monster from your hand. Militant Recruit |EARTH|*4|Warrior/Tuner|1000/1000 If this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard, increase the ATK of all "Frontline Soldier" monsters on your side of the field by 500 until the End Phase. [u][b]Spells[/b][/u] 0-Reload |Quickplay| When this card is activated, select 1 face-up “Frontline Soldier 0” monster on your side of the field. If it is your turn the selected monster can attack a second time this turn. If it is your opponent’s turn, increase the selected monster’s ATK by 500. Bomb Shelter |Continuous| By paying 500 LP, you can negate the destruction of 1 face-up “Frontline Soldier” or “Militant” monster. Each time you activate this effect put 1 “Damage Counter” on this card. When this card has 7 “Damage Counters” destroy this card. Riot Shield |Equip| Increase the DEF of the equipped monster by 800. When it is declared the target of an attack, you can switch it to Defense Position. Armor-Piercing Ammo |Equip| Increase the ATK of the equipped monster by 200. It can now inflict piercing damage. Prison Break |Normal| Activate when your opponent controls a “Frontline Soldier” monster(s) that was originally on your side of the field. If this card is destroyed as a result of battle, destroy all Spell and Trap cards on your side of the field. JLP1701 Posted December 31, 2010 Report Share Posted December 31, 2010 First impression: Pretty cool idea. A bit strange, but I haven't seen anything like them. But after reading all of them, I feel that some of them are a little OP'd. General is pretty crazy. Sure you have to tribute 2 monsters, but your immediately going to replace them and clear out any immediate threats as soon as he hits the field. And then he's extremely hard to get off the field since he can't be removed from the field with his effect. Top it off with a 3000 atk. Rediculously OP'd. Militant Advisor is also pretty OP'd in my opinion. You basically play Militant Tactician, remove it from play and you get an 1800 beatstick while adding a Frontline Soldier to your hand. It's a good combination, but I would and it's fine, but he should be Special Summoned from the hand, not deck. Veteran has way too many ways to negate things. In all honesty, the effects are fine, but putting them all together makes it a little to crazy. Overall, I like it, but I feel that you tried to put too many effects into your cards. They would be more balanced if you spread the effects out among more cards. Have one high leveled monster special summon monsters from your hand, and make another that can't be destroyed while there's another frontline soldier on the field. You can use those effects for synchros as well. It's a good set with a good idea, it just needs some balancing. Link to comment

General should be much more exposed now and Veteran has lost his negation power, but gained a new one. I also altered the Militant Advisor/Tactician effects. Plus, I added a new Militant Tuner monster and 3 Synchros. Link to comment
