The 7 Ancient Magic Arts

These are some cards I made just for fun. The OCG is probably pretty bad, I'm no expert. Please tell me if I need to change something.

LORE:When you activate this card, discard the top 5 cards of your deck. During your standby phase, you must discard one card or destroy this card. Your opponent takes 500 damage at the end of each turn. Once per turn, you can flip a coin, if heads, your opponent takes 1000 points of damage. If tails, destroy this card.

LORE:When you activate this card, discard the top 5 cards of your deck. Inflict 750 points of damage to your opponent for every card removed from play. When you activate this card, your opponent must remove from play 3 random cards in their hand.

LORE:When you activate this card, discard the top 5 cards of your deck. Pay 1000 life points. Search your deck for 3 cards that include "7 Ancient Magic Arts" in it's name,show them to your opponent and add them to your hand. Then shuffle your deck.

LORE:When you activate this card, discard the top 5 cards of your deck. Negate the special summon of a monster your opponent controls. Then gain 500 life points.

LORE:When you activate this card, discard the top 5 cards of your deck. You can only activate this card when your opponent has more life points than you. Inflict 500 damage to your opponent for each card in your graveyard that has "7 Ancient Magic Arts" in it's name. Destroy one card on the field for each 1000 points of damage inflicted in this way.

LORE:When you activate this card, discard the top 5 cards of your deck. You can only activate this card when you control a face up card with "7 Ancient Magic Arts" in it's name. During the standby phase of your turn, destroy a number of cards in your opponent's spell or trap card zone equal to the number of cards with "7 Ancient Magic Arts" in it's name that you control.

LORE:When you activate this card, discard the top 5 cards of your deck. You can only activate this card if you have 6 cards with different names, that begin with "7 Ancient Magic Arts"in your hand, on the field or in the graveyard. Remove them all from play. Then, special summon one monster from your Extra Deck with "Ancient Magic Ruler" in it's name.

LORE:This card cannot be normal summoned or set. This card cannot be special summoned except by the effect of "7 Ancient Magic Arts #7- Light". When this card is special summoned, you can send one card from your hand or deck to your graveyard. if the card you chose was "Ancient Magic Ruler- Light", then you can put two counters on this card. Remove one counter from this card at the end of each turn. If there are no counters on this card and you have "Ancient Magic Ruler- Life" in your graveyard, you can remove from play both cards and special summon "Symbol of Balance from your hand, deck or graveyard.

LORE:This card cannot be normal summoned or set. This card cannot be special summoned except by the effect of "7 Ancient Magic Arts#7- Light". When this card is summoned, choose 1 monster in your graveyard and special summon it, ignoring the summoning conditions. If the card you summoned is "Ancient Magic Ruler- Death", you can tribute this card and that card to special summon "Symbol of Balance" from your hand, deck or graveyard.

LORE:This card cannot be normal summoned or set. This card cannot be special summoned except by the effect of a card with "Ancient Magic Ruler" in it's name.When this card is on the field, it is treated as a continuous spell card with this effect: "This card is treated as a dark attribute monster as well as it's other attributes. This card cannot be destroyed by card effects. Whenever a player declares an attack with a monster, their opponent gets to choose a monster on their side of the field as a target. Whenever a player loses or gains life points, except by one of the effects of this card, their opponent loses or gains the same amount. Up to twice a turn, you can use the effect of one '7 Ancient Magic Arts' card in your graveyard as this card's effect. Every time you do this, put one balance counter on this card. If this card has more than 25 balance counters on it, you win the duel."

The link is too a different version of Symbol of Balance.

Great concept. Like you said, there were some OCG errors, along with grammar mistakes.

What I would like to say is, some cards are too descriptive; there is too much text to read and it makes it kind of boring for the Card controller to see it all. Shorten it down so it can contain the same length of material, or just lower the effect a bit. I am talking mostly about the last card, Symbol of Balance.

You spelled "Teleportation" wrong in that Ancient Magic Arts Card of Teleportation.

You should take off the "7" in the 7 Ancient Magic Arts #something in every of those cards. It seems a bit redundant, not really that necessary to the title. It should probably read "Ancient Magic Arts #..."

One big problem is the fusion cards at the end of the set. Why are they of fusion type? They do not have any monsters to send to the graveyard as a result of fusion, so shouldn't they be regular monsters? You should adjust so that they are effect monsters rather than fusion effect monsters.

Symbol of Balance doesn't seem like an actual monster. It's a symbol isn't it? Probably adjust it so it becomes a little monster-like.

Also, Symbol of Balance is Spellcaster-Fusion-Spirit. Since it has an effect, it should be Spellcaster-Fusion-Effect. Or if you really want to include the "Spirit" in there, you should choose Spellcaster-Spirit/Fusion/Effect.

Many of the cards seem too overpowered, lower their effects a little so they don't become too easy to use.

Other than that, these cards are creative. They are good for counters and what not.

You can pay 500 life points and discard one "Magic Servant" card to add one "7 Ancient Magic Arts" card from your deck to your hand. Then shuffle your deck.

LORE: All monsters with "Magic Servant" in their name gain 300 ATK and DEF. Whenever a monster attacks, put 1 Casting Counter on this card. If this card has 3 or more Casting Counters on it, you gain 300 life points every time you draw. If this card has seven or more Casting Counters on it, lower all the levels of monsters in your hand by 2. If this card has 10 or more Casting Counters on it, you can remove one to add one "7 Ancient Magic Arts" card from your deck or Graveyard to your hand.

When this card is Synchro Summoned, you can pay 500 life points to add "7 Ancient Magic Arts #4- Aqua" from your deck to your hand. You can discard one card from your hand to select and destroy one face up
tuner monster. When this card attacks, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the number of "Magic Servant" monsters in your Graveyard multiplied by 200.
