Just felt the urge to create a new card You like it??

This card can only attack your opponent's Life Points directly. Whenever any battle damage between monsters is inflicted, increase the ATK of this card by half of the amount inflicted.

This card can attack your Opponent's Life Points directly. Whenever any Battle Damage is inflicted, increase the ATK of this card by half of the ammount inflicted.

ok 0 ATK and 1000 DEF want to do a little roleplay if its fine by u?


you summoned this guy you atk me directly i lose 0 damamge and the guy atk increase by half the amount inflicted(Btw ur card has ammount pretty sure 1 m). so it gains half of 0 unles u buff it with equip spell cards. so u can pretty much inflict 3000 damamge to me with 3 axe of dispear and any other crazy equip spell card then the guys atk increase by half amout so it would have 4500 some crazy shiz man. OP in short terms.

Indeed you are right. What I meant to put was battle damage between monsters. I will change it now.

Also, the way you put is says any damage inflicted, so if a Red Dragon Archfiend you controlled would attack, then this card would gain attack as well.

With the effect changed to what you just said in your second post, I don't think it's all that strong, though it could easily be argued.

Also, opponent doesn't need to be capitalized.

No worries, I like the idea behind the card a fair bit.

On top of those more obvious OCG errors I'm very unsure about the wording of the second effect. I'm a little reluctant to correct it though, as I can't seem to get the correct OCG myself.

The main problem I see with this card... How annoying its attack will become to calculate. i.e.
*You attack and inflict 1500 with a monster.
*It gains 1250 ATK.
*You attack with it and inflict 250.
*It gains 125 ATK. Now it's on 1375.
*Next turn you attack with it first and take 625 damage from a defense position monster.
*It gains 312.5 ATK. Now it's on 1687 ATK.
... etc. The number continues to decay into more and more unruly values. But that's just an irritation thing.

I suppose you could use a calculator and I would say that you would have to be really lucky for the numbers to go haywire like that. But I see what you mean

Having said that, there are cards with similar effects, jirai gumo perhaps.
