Well as some of you might know, I'm a big fan of the "

Alien" archtype and I always take a chance to give them some extra support.

In a contest I entered not a long while ago, I had to made a Reptile-Type "Worm" monster (which are my 2nd fav archtype) and I though, they're both Aliens, why won't they join forces to fight of the Earthlings? And from that idea I created the 1st Alien Hybrid monster. I even added a storyline to them. But I'm not the best storywriter so it might be cr@p.

The story

During one of the Aliens their many interstellar travels they met up with the Worms. Both are seeking for new planets to inhabit. And they formed an alliance with each other to help the other in a time of need.

After eras of searching the Aliens finally found earth. Here they discovered that their Mind Control strategies worked very well. Even so the earthling resisted thier colonization plans and fought back, this was a que for the Aliens to bring up thier old Alliance with the Worms and they send them a message for assistance.

In the mean time the worms being a species that use thier Wormhole-creating powers to travel from planet to planet finally found earth and started to help the Aliens. But the people of earth created the Allies of Justice to stop the newest invaders who all had 1 thing incommen.

If you control an "Alien" monster, you can activate this card from your Deck. Both players can Fusion Summon "Alien Hybrid" monsters by sending from either side of the field or that players hand to the Graveyard, Fusion Material Monsters that are listed on an "Alien Hybrid" card. Once per turn, when this card would be destroyed, it is not.

[spoiler=Alien Hybrid - Worm]

The Aliens noticed that their companions and themselfs where losing the battles even when using their most powerfull weapons. And decided that they needed more power. By using DNA from slime of the Worms and thier own A Cells. They created the 1st Hybrid. Codename: "Worm".

20638t.jpg

1 Reptile-Type "Worm" monster + 1 "Alien" monster OR a monster with a A-Counter on it.

This card is also treated as a Machine-Type monster. Once per turn, by revealing 1 "Alien" or Retile-Type "Worm" monster in your hand, activate on of the following effects depending on the monster revealed: - A Reptile-Type "Worm" monster: Return all face-down cards your opponent controls to thier hand. - A "Alien" monster: Destroy all Spell and Trap Cards, then distribute new A-Counters equal to the amount of cards destroyed by this effect.

With the come of the Hybrids the Aliens made a huge step in Warfare technology. And they became even more greedy for more power. And started experimenting with more different species to create even more Hybrids.

[spoiler=Alien Hybrid - Hero]

While the Worms used the new Hybrid to counter the Allies of Justice and continue their consume of the planet. They finally came to the City of Heroes, the Heroes fought brave, but the Worms thier swarming technices where to much for them to handel and the had to leave their city for a new outpost. Leaving the old city to the Worms. The Aliens asked the Worms if they had any info on their newly beaten enemies and the gave them the info and some DNA to create more troops that use the power of the earthling against them. Seeing as they didn't knew enoigh about them to make a full Hybrid they settled with a weaker one. Codename: "Hero".

20638l.jpg

1 "Alien" monster OR 1 monster with a A-Counter on it + 1 "Elemental Hero" monster.

This card is also treated as a "Elemental Hero" monster. Each time your opponent activates an effect that would destroy 1 or more cards you control, by revealing 1 "Alien" monster in your hand, negate that card's effect and inflict 800 damage to your opponent.

After leaving Earth in the hands of the Hybrids and the Worms and some extra troops. The Aliens started searching through the galaxies for more power and land. After more conquests they discovered an Dimensional rift. Going to the Different Dimension. And they decided it is soutable to be conquered, however they meet the Delphic monsters who are Guardians of the Dimension. And a battle started.

[spoiler=Alien Hybrid - Delphic]

Realising the "Delphics", although cyborgs, were too mechanical to be brainwashed, they engaged in traditional conflict and lost a large portion of that first fleet to the mysterious creatures. The surviving ships escaped with minimal information on their foe, but by now, the "Allies of Justice" were making severe expansions into "Worm" territory and the decision, although risky, was made to drag some of the "Delphics" out of the Different Dimension to study, and gain some information that could help them in their ally's fight.

Allowing some of their ships to be caught in the Different Dimension caused a trio of ships to arrive, including a "Delphic Babel". Bearly defeating them, its technology was grafted onto various "Alien" soldiers to create a hybrid with the ability to open holes in the dimensional plane, at a cost.

As such, the war continues. The "Allies of Justice" continue to arrive from their enigmatic birthplace, slowly pushing into "Worm" territory, but suffering losses at the hands of the "Aliens", dragging the conflict to a painful stalemate.

Thanks to Max Darkness for writing the story and being the creator of the Delphics.

Codename: "Delphic".

In their neverending search for power the Aliens discovered another species. Who have thier eyes on earth. The Steelswarm.

[spoiler=Alien Hybrid - Steelswarm]

At first the Aliens saw an potential ally in this new and aggresive race. However the Steelswarms or Inverz, how they call themself, where not very interested. This didn't fell right with the Aliens who started a full out war against them on earth and in space. The Steelswarm used thier brutal, but powerfull technices to break through the Alien lines, but where eventually subdone by the Aliens thier braincontrol. Now serving them in the Aliens' Armies. They used some for experimenting to create their newest Hybrid.

With everincreasing forces they started to harvest the power of Stars. Where they met a unique species who actually live inside stars. The Solaric monsters.

[spoiler=Alien Hybrid - Solaric]

The Solarics who are beings made out of pure Fire, where curious about these strange carbon based species. The Aliens, suprised that there could be live something in such a place. Decided that this is a species that should better be kept as ally and sweettalked them into sharing information. With the information they got the Aliens attempted to make thier own Fire-based being. Even though they managed to create an form of live. It was weak. And dangerous to both sides. They gave it the codename "Solaric".

After meeting the Solarics they learned that live does not have to be as logical as they previously thought. And they started to research into the occult. Where they found a Underworld containing the Infernity monsters.

[spoiler=Alien Hybrid - Infernity]

During thier search through the Underworlds they discovered the Infernity monsters. Who worked best in though conditions, while being brutally eficiant. The Aliens saw loads of potential in this and formed an alliance with them. Now using thier Bio technology they fused both races their Genes and created a new powerfull Hybrid able to fight back against the Allies of Justice.

Thanks to Saroku, who made this card and its general storyline.

While fighting on earth, an "Alien Hypno" noticed something hiding in the clouds while looking through the window of thier shuttle.

[spoiler=Alien Hybrid - Cloudian]

When the Alien Hypno told the other Aliens, they just though he was going crazy. But of course it was right, so he went on research. And there it discovered the Cloudians. A manipulating race made out of clustred Water Droplets, giving them the apearance of clouds.

There our Hypno stole one of them for research. And out of that came the newest Hybrid.

Codename: Cloudian.

With thanks to Tom. who created this card.

47839.jpg

1 "Alien" monster OR 1 monster with an A-Counter on it + "Cloudian" monster

This card is also treated as a Fairy-Type monster. If this card is in Defense Position, destroy it. You take no damage from battles involving this card. Once per turn, you can Tribute 1 monster with an A-Counter or Fog Counter on it to inflict damage to your opponent equal to the number of counters on it x 300.

After expanding thier terratory, destroying some villages and making more Hybrids. The Aliens came to a strange Colosseum who was resillaint against their bombardments.

[spoiler=Alien Hybrid - Gladiator]

As the Aliens entered the Colloseum, they where soon stopped by strange humanoid creatures who are feirce in apearance and, though they have technologies, prefer using clasical Weapons.

The Aliens, who did not want another enemy on this globe, tried to offer them an alliance. But thier "honor" made them refuse. So the Aliens tried to use thier Mind Control tactics on them and force them to be thier allies.

However the incredible Tag Team strategy of the enemy made the Aliens attempt useless, as they where never long enough there to invluence them. And so a new battle started, the seemed to be losing this battle, however a breakthrough came when they managed to capture one of the Beasts. Using thier A Cells they created a new Warrior using the same tactics of their opponent against them.

While the battle on earth rages on. Other troops find a peculiar Light in space. On closer inspection the Light apears hostile and send out its deadly troops the Arcana Force.

[spoiler=Alien Hybrid - Arcana]

And so a battle started against the Arcana Force. Wierd creatures that use thier powers on a totaly random fashion. Making them unpredictable, some even fought against thier own. Luckily the Aliens managed to gain control of 1 of thier Leaders using thier Manipulation technices. And through intensive studies they managed to create 1 of thier own.

Codename: Arcana

20638p.jpg

1 "Alien" monster OR 1 monster with a A-Counter on it + 1 "Arcana Force" monster.

This card is also treated as an "Arcana Force" monster. When this card is Summoned, toss a coin. - Heads: Your opponent cannot Set any cards on the field. - Tails: You cannot Set any Monster Cards on the field.

Of course they heard legends of mythical creatures that made thier home on Earth. But as they never actually saw them, the Aliens didn't believe the stories. Till they stubled acros a very interesting Lion.

[spoiler=Alien Hybrid - Phantom]

The Aliens soon discovered that the creature was a so called Phantom Beast or Mythical Beast how the people called them. Fasinated as the Aliens where, to see a so called "living legend" they tried to control it. It however had some hostile friends and another conflict started. However using thier Brain Control tactics they managed to tame the beast and decided to create a new Hybrid using thier brute force.

Codename: Phantom.

20638.jpg

This card is also treated as an Beast-Warrior-Type "Phantom Beast" monster. Each time a card with an A-Counter is destroyed, inflict 400 damage to your opponent. If anyone would like to make thier own Alien Hybrids using other species or thier own archtypes, feel free to do so. But, give me credit for the original idea.

They still look good. And a Field Spell (or Continuous Spell) would be a better idea for the fusion card. Otherwise, you're going to have to make a series of two or three support cards for that card and it might get bulky.

And, if anyone's wondering what that 'Delphic Babel' is in the 'Delphic Hybrid's' story, this is it:

This was a great idea. the story was pretty interesting, too. the effects are decent, though the ATK seems a little high. the main issue i have with the use of these is the fact that you would need to have your field spell to take your opponent's monsters, and that seems a little too limited, although i don't think it really hurts them. also, i dislike the fact that the field spell allows you to activate it from the deck.

9.5/10

Mhh, really? Well imo its a pretty ballancing effect that helps this set as they are pretty hard to Summon except with an specialized Deck or with A LOT of luck.

Alien Hybrid - Hero's effect is very OP, Dark Paladin for example can only negate spells and you have to discard a card to do it. Hero negates any effect that would destroy it AND deals damage... does anyone think the same thing?

There is where you're wrong. This card only negates it. It does not destroy it. So if your opp would use Dad's or LD's effect it would still be around while Dark Paladin also destroyes the negated card. Rendering the move useless. While here you still can use longerlasting cards.

Also there is the factor that it needs 1 Alien (or card with an A counter) and 1 E-Hero monster. And last time I checked they aren't very compedable. Also it has relative low ATK and vey Low DEF making it fulnirable for stronger cards.

dude these are awesome an the little story too. also the idea is original so it makes it even awesomer. I was going to try to make one like these after I read this, but I'm not that good so I'll tell you the archetype instead. I like the aliens and the naturia archetype so if you can make something out of them it would be awesome and if not o well. But I'm not going to try because it would bring shame to your idea. Either way you should come up with more.

Thanks.

Sorry, but I wasn't planning on making any Worm x (non-Alien) Archtype Hybrids only Alien Hybrids.

Sorry that is what I meant:

Alien Hybrid-Gladiator(Beast).

Someone else already suggested it, but Imo the Aliens wouldn't see any potential in them.

Mhh, I shall see what I can do.
