There are several other cards in the set that are saved elsewhere and I will retrieve and add later (including most of the removed from play recovery cards). My goal was to create a cool set that is well-rounded enough it could be proxied and played without being overly broken. The assumption at the start is that all of the Synchros in the set would be Limited due to the kinda broken nature of some of their effects. I'm looking for feedback as I post these, the other cards I've already made, and all of those I still plan to create for this set. As for the names, the first three I created were Nyx, Eos, and Aur. I realized I had a cool three-letter name thing developing, so I came up with the cute-sounding "Ika" (I-ka, long "i" sound, short "a" sound) as the base name, then used three-letter suffixes to modify them. Some have clear meaning (Eos=Goddess of the Dawn in Greek mythology, Nem=reference to Nemesis the Greek Goddess of Balance), some are odd perversions of words (Gya-->Gaia, Wat-->Watt), and some are just kinda obscure/geeky/odd (those tend to come later). Anywho, CONSTRUCTIVE feedback is welcome, and only point out typos if it is attached to other, meaningful constructive criticism. PLEASE HELP FIX MY OCG!!! I am open to modifying their effects to make them less broken (especially ones like Ika-Pyr >.<) I desperately want some constructive criticism on these. I will post other cards in the set later... Then select up to 2 monster(s). While this card remains face-up on the field, the selected Monster Cards' Effect(s) cannot be activated and they cannot attack. When this card is removed from the field, its controller may remove from play up to 2 card(s) from either player's Graveyard. When a Monster Card's Effect is activated, (if possible) you must remove 1 Depth Counter from this card to negate it and destroy the monster. Once per turn, you may remove 1 Depth Counter from this card to remove 1 monster in either Graveyard from play. Put 1 Depth Counter on this card at each Standby Phase. Once per turn, if this card would be destroyed, you may remove from play 2 "Ika" cards to negate its destruction. When this face-up card is removed from the field, return up to 2 of your removed from play cards to your deck, then shuffle. Until the End Phase of that turn, this card can't be destroyed or targeted by your opponent's Spell/Trap/Monster Card Effect(s). When this monster deals damage to your opponent, your opponent cannot activate Spell/Trap/Monster Card Effects until the End Phase of this turn. When this face-up card is removed from the field, return up to 2 "Ika" monster(s) that have been removed from play to your deck, shuffle your deck, then draw 1 card. If this face-up card is destroyed by an opponent's Spell/Trap/Monster Card Effect, remove from play 3 monsters in your opponent's Graveyard, then deal damage equal to half of their combined levels x 100 [img]http://img819.imageshack.us/img819/5599/310473.jpg[/img] Ika-Wat, Voice of the Storm Lore: 1 "Ika" Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters When this monster attacks an opponent's face-down defense-position monster, that monster is automatically destroyed and sent to the Graveyard (do not flip it face-up or apply damage calculation). This monster's ATK is decreased by 300 points each time this effect is activated. While this monster's ATK is less than 1500, it may attack directly. krazyxgamer Posted January 11, 2011 Report Share Posted January 11, 2011 attack -> ATK defense -> DEF attack-position -> Attack Position spell -> Spell trap -> Trap top 1 card -> top card attribute -> Attribute (not 100% sure about this one) monster effects -> Monster Card Effects this card gains 5 Depth Counters -> put 5 Depth Counters on this card there might have been more that i saw... but idk just start with that i guess the non-Tuner should be required to be a certain Type or Attribute D: that's what i did with my Eevolution, check it out if you have time, i still have stuff to fix on them but w.e lol overall they are nice 8/10 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I might throw in the extra requirements for the non-Tuner...I didn't start off require a specific Type or Attribute in large part because this set, while eventually inspired by Eeveelutions, originally started off with this cool idea for a card to tick one of my friends off (which is now Ika-Nyx). When I started looking to make the set, the card art potential was great for Eeveelutions and helped inspire some of the later ones. I made the unified name to let them work as an archetype (I had the three-letter name thing going already with Nyx, Aur, and Eos, so I added the cute yet cool "Ika" prefix as the name base). They're actually intended as realistic cards, and that's where they were originally posted (I got tired of people complaining about them despite my explaination of intent...XP). Anywho, I'm still deciding whether to go full-fledged Eeveelution or not... If I do go for it, the Type/Attribute thing will absolutely go in as a requirement for the non-Tuner (and, in Eos's case, will likely apply to the Tuner as well) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
