Legend of Zelda Cards

Hello to everyone here at YCM.

Here are my Zelda cards, I am a fairly new member and I am trying to improve as a card maker so I would appreciate and comments, ideas and of course constructive criticism. I understand that there are a number of cards however I would really like as much feedback as possible from the YGCM Forum so if you don't want to comment on all of them, I suggest that you pick one (or perhaps even a few) at random and comment on it/them, that way individually you can all help me create a great set of Zelda cards. I will also post below my newest card so you could comment on that as it is more practical.

As a secondary note if you are an avid "Legend of Zelda" fan and you are outraged (lol) that a certain card that should be in my set, does not in fact exist in my set, then please post and let me know and I will get down to making it. Conversly if you would like me to create one of your favourite Zelda-themed cards then once again please post and let me know, thanks.

As long as you control this card, your opponent sends monsters they control to the Graveyard until the collective ATK of all monsters they control is equal to or less than the ATK of this card. If this card leaves the field, return it to your Extra Deck.[/spoiler]

When this card declares an attack, your opponent cannot negate it, any Battle Damage inflicted by the card is treated as Effect Damage. When this card is selected as an attack target by any monster except a DARK Monster, you can remove this card from play to Special Summon 1 DARK Monster from your hand, ignoring the summoning conditions.[/spoiler]

During your End Phase you can reduce your Life Points by any amount to increase the ATK of this card by the same amount. When this card is sent to the Graveyard, during each of their Standby Phases inflict damage to the player who sent this card to the Graveyard, equal to the ATK of this card when it was sent to the Graveyard, as long as it remains in the Graveyard. If the the collective ATK of the monsters your opponent controls is 4000 or more, during your Battle Phase this card can declare a number of attacks equal to the number of monsters your opponent controls. When this card selects a monster your opponent controls as an attack target toss a coin. If the result is heads, negate the attack and destroy the selected monster, if the result is tails, continue the attack. Switch this card to Defence Position during the End Phase of a turn 3 or more monsters your opponent controls are sent to the Graveyard, while you control this card.[/spoiler]

During each your End Phases place 1 Gohma Counter on all face-up "Arachnid Tokens" you control. Tribute 1 "Arachnid Token" with 3 Gohma Counters on it, to Special Summon 1 Inesct-Type Monster from your Graveyard.[/spoiler]

As long as you control this face-up card, during your End Phase inflict damage to your Life Points equal to half the ATK of the monster equipped with this card, if you do not, equip this card to a face-up monster your opponent controls. If your opponent does not control a face-up monster, place this card in their Deck, their Deck is then shuffled.[/spoiler]

While this card is equipped to a monster, remove 1 monster in your hand from play to select 1 monster removed from play and inflict damage a player's (who owns the selected monster) Life Points equal to the diference between the ATK of the monster equipped with this card and the ATK of monster removed from play. Then place the selected card back in its original Deck and shuffle the Deck. When the card equiped with this card would be destroyed, destroy this card instead.[/spoiler]

You can remove 2 "Boulder Counters" from the field to increase the DEF of this card by 600. If a set Spell or Trap Card with a "Boulder Counter" on it, is destroyed by a card effect, your opponent can draw 1 card from their Deck. If a face-down monster with a "Boulder Counter" on it, is used for the Tribute Summon of a monster, decrease the ATK and DEF of the monster by 300[/spoiler]

-Select 1 face-down Monster Card on the field and flip it face-up (flip effects are not activated). You can select the monster as an attack target with the monster equipped with this card. The selected card is flipped face-down during your opponent's next Standby Phase.
-Look at the card at the top of your opponent's Deck. If the card is a Spell or Trap card, you can send it tp the bottom of the Deck. If the card is a Monster Card, you can select it as an attack target with the monster equipped with this card (the attacked monster is treated as an Attack Position monster). [/spoiler]

During your Main Phase 1, you can discard 1 card from your hand to decrease the ATK of all face-up monsters you control other than this card to 0 for the remainder of the duel, to increase the ATK of the monster equipped with this card by the total amount reduced until the End Phase. When a monster equipped with this card inflicts Battle Damage, you can negate the damage to Special Summon 1 monster from your Graveyard with a lower or equal ATK to the damage dealt.[/spoiler]

Banish 2 cards from the top of your opponent's deck to shift the control of this card and the monster to your opponent. When this card is removed from the field, banish the monster.[/spoiler]

When this card is sent to the Graveyard, reduce the ATK of all monsters your opponent controls by an ammount equal to the ATK of this card when it was sent to the Graveyard. This card cannot attack your opponent's Life Points directly.[/spoiler]

You can decrease the DEF of this card by any amount to Special Summon 1 "Jelly Token" (Aqua-Type/Water/Level 3/ATK 0/DEF ???) The DEF of the "Jelly Token" is equal to the decreased amount. "Jelly Tokens" cannot be used as a Trubute. During your Standby Phase inflict damage to your opponent's Life Points equal to the number of "Jelly Tokens" you control x 500.[/spoiler]

This card remains in your Field Card Zone until the End Phase after a number of turns have passed, equal to the Level of the monster that inflicted the damage.[/spoiler]

I have already seen and commented.

You say the second would be banned on the spot, however I am unsure and this is why:

-You have to wait three turns
-There is a 1000 LP drawback if it fails
-Both players have to half their LP
-In the three turns this card remains on the field there is a good chance it will be destroyed, thus encurring the 1000 drawback

however I my be too close to this, I need other peoples' oppinions.

To be fair. I see your OCG no better than mine (both are still better than what garbage the CG used to be, I.E the original "Polymerization")

So I think you should rate each others cards mostly on how the card would play, and not nitpick I.E "this word should go there", "that wording isn't legit", "that would never be the real wording (you think? >_>).

The OCG is constantly changing, so it's not always going to be 100% spot on.

We can only muse an prod and poke at eachother in terms of OCG. You say ours is on the same level....I would disagree, however I am not going to get to that. You are right in saying that OCG is everchanging however there are principle rules that you must follow in terms of OCG such as ATK, damage and others.

That is all on my part.

Majora review:

The 2000 ATK is good, but it'll lose 200 each time it destroys a monster in battle. Each time it happens though, it adds a spell counter for it's effect. So I see two ways to play this card.

1: Keep it out as long as you can, destroying monsters by battle, never letting it's original ATK go below 1600. Finally using it's effect to get a free kill, and it's ATK goes back to 2000. And repeat.

2: Have it keep gaining counters (maybe boosting it's ATK with some equips along the way), protect it with spells/traps, untill your opponent finally breaks through, and takes a lump sum of damage.

Overall: 7/10

This card cannot be destroyed by battle as long as you control no monsters other than this card. When this card is selected as an attack target, select and activate 1 of the following effect after Damage Calculation:
-Inflict damage to your opponent equal to half the ATK of the attacking monster.
-Change the Battle Position of the attacking monster.

Send this card to the Graveyard during your second Standby Phase after the activation to halve the Life Points of both players. If this card is sent to the Graveyard by a card effect other than its own, you take 1000 damage.

Majora seems to be fine in terms of OCG...
BUT i think it's a bit OP

1. it's a lvl 4 with 2000 ATK
2. remove counters to destroy monsters = lots of destroying in Spell Counter decks
3. inflicts damage upon being destroyed

change the inflict to you taking the damage and this card will be balanced enough i think since it only has 100 DEF

the pics are cool, so IMO these are better than Darth's since your guys's OCG were basically at the same level, it's just that you have better pics than what he does but then again, the chars you chose are easier to find good pics of lol...

Thanks for the review but I do actually have the better images for the same cards as darth.

the pics are cool, so IMO these are better than Darth's since your guys's OCG were basically at the same level, it's just that you have better pics than what he does but then again, the chars you chose are easier to find good pics of lol...

hmm, you should cut down on the effects, even if you have lores,
it's kinda dumb to have a card that you can't read the effect of lol
but the images look pretty good mayne, the effects are unique too,
your pretty good at this, just work a bit more on you OCG and you will be amazing lol

after you master OCG, your next step is to make your thread itself interesting lol
such as by putting a banner of your set lol, i'm trying to do that currently,
but i kinda raged since i kept on messing up and kinda deleting my work
so i'm on a break... my set has over 500 cards so it's really hard to keep it organized... lol

anyways, keep up the work,
BTW is Navi supposed to be a Union monster?

also there are some OCG errors, but i'm too lazy to fix it...

Thanks for the feedback, I know rgar OCG is hard but I know I'm not far off . In terms of the lengthes of the lores, if you look at the cards themselves, there is space enough to fit all my lore in but for some reason it's squashed. In terms of my sig i'm not ready for that, I think i'm not so big on holos and sigs and things. Mabybe another time
