RAEGING D0GKING
http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Blackwing_-_Hiren_the_Sudden_Gust When your opponent's monster declares a direct attack, OR you take 2000 or more Battle Damage, you can Special Summon this card and 1 Level 3 or lower "Blackwing" monster from your Graveyard. You can only use this effect once per Duel. Its a free lv 8 synchro but your opponent needs to attack your directly. Would x1 of this be used in bws? RAEGING D0GKING
Screw dat. Naturia Melon : You would special summon Kalut with its effect. Fane is not worth running.
hexcalibrate
what about gust the backblast? personally i'd rather go for armor master than a level 8 synchro
RAEGING D0GKING
Gust is bad aswell. lv8 synchros are better than level 7 synchros :/
evilfusion
So it's a double shield or Synchro materials. Nice. 0 ATK means it's super searchable, by things like Shura, Mystic Tomato, Chaos End Master, etc. Level 5 Tuner is interesting, and no restrictions on the Synchro it can summon or the non-tuners. It sets up level 8, but it can get level 7 as well. Why do people call it "instant Synchro", though? It's not. Regardless of which method you activate the effect in response to, these are summoned during the opponent's turn, and during their Battle Phase. Unless you've got Urgent Tuning down, they can still attack and destroy one of the monsters before you bring out your Synchro, or use effect destruction. Dries965
Weaker then GORZ in ATK and DEF , but with more possibilities, even can be summoned with cards on your side of the field. Overall, a good BW support

-Lightray Daedalus-
Official (Almost) Effect: When you take 2000 or more points of Battle Damage as a result of an opposing monster's direct attack while this card is in the Graveyard, activate by selecting 1 Level 3 or lower "Black Feather" monster in your Graveyard. Special Summon the selected monster and this card in Defense Position. The effects of the monsters Special Summoned by this effect are negated. The effect of "Black Feather - Hiren of the Sudden Gust" can only be used once per Duel.
