[*]You cannot chain "Morphtronic Forcefield" to effects that are uncertain to destroy a "Morphtronic" monster like "Fissure" or "Smashing Ground", even if the only monsters you control are Morphtronic monsters. [*]If you don't have any Morphtronic monsters in your Deck, you cannot activate "Morphtronic Forcefield". [*]You can only chain "Morphtronic Forcefield" to a card that destroys a Morphtronic monster at resolution, not to a card that will destroy one in the future. So you cannot chain it to "Ekibyo Drakmord", "Blind Destruction", or "Needle Wall". [*]You cannot activate "Morphtronic Forcefield" if "Thunder King Rai-Oh" is on the field. If an effect is chained to "Morphtronic Forcefield" that Summons "Thunder King Rai-Oh", you will not be able to add a Morphtronic monster to your hand, but "Morphtronic Forcefield" can still negate the Spell or Trap Card this card was chained to.

The use of this thing has always been wholly dependent on whether or not spells/traps were being commonly used to destroy monsters. So I must ask: Do you think that spells and traps that destroy monsters are used often enough for this card to not be a dead draw?
TheTurtleOnceCalledGod
If it were "monster/s" it would be more playable.
Canadian
It's situational and therefore is bad. Morph's can do just fine without the search.
Stardust Dragon is about the same, just not archetype-specific. And you can use it on an MST, but nobody does that.
Unless he meant "targets" instead of "destroys", not "targets and destroys". Then that would be a trade off, by negating wide area destructions vs spell effects that target and don't destroy like Book of Moon.

You are basicly saying only use faultrol in an x-saber deck because its the best x-saber so dont use the other x-saber cards
