Once per turn, during your Main Phase, select 1 Spell card in your Graveyard and add it to your hand. If this monster would be destroyed by battle or a card effect, remove one Spell card in your hand or on your side of the field from play to negate the attack or card effect. rate/fix OCG as usual. juat another idea I thought of the other day. Lord Doransk Posted January 19, 2011 Report Share Posted January 19, 2011 hmmm... seems to me as if this card could get a little OP'd. if you had three spells in your graveyard, you can return one to your hand each turn then use that spell to keep the guy ticking over, then return the spell card in order to keep the guy ticking over... Perhaps remove the 'return one spell in your graveyard to your hand once per turn' bit to make it a little fairer. A good concept nonetheless, but lacking in originality- like you said yourself, the guy doesn't really need any more forms. On the plus side, this card seems to be moderately useful as a survivable beatstick- despite the re-used idea. Perhaps increase his ATK to 2700, because 2500 really doesn't cut much for a level-7 nowadays (read: owned by Blue-Eyes, Gear Golem, half the synchros, dark armed dragon etc etc). I currently wouldn't run him myself, but maybe with a few alterations you could acheive a very playable card. Keep up the good work! claude_c_kenny Posted January 19, 2011 Author Report Share Posted January 19, 2011 His effect doesn't send the card to the graveyard, it removes it from play. the idea is to have you choose to save the dark magician, or keep the spell card for later use, which, if I did increase his ATK as you suggested, would probably make that choice a little tougher. I'd completely abuse Cold Wave with this card, clear field and then spam cold wave until the end of the duel. Broken but a good idea. Have the Spell card effect like this : When this card is Summoned, add 1 Spell card from your graveyard to your hand. And increase his ATK to 2700 as Doransk said, would make it a much more playable and less broken card. 4/10 As it is 7/10 with fixes (Because it lacks originality) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
