how to make japanese cards on gimp

i actually got fed up with trying to use ms paint so i finally got gimp, and as you might expect i have no idea how to use most of the features on it. so i was curious if someone could give be step by step instructions to make my created cards on here japanese. for anyone that helps me i shall donate 50 points and give 1 rep
