CNo.101 S.H. Death Knight
Transcend & Riser Monster rules For what ever reason, I just got jolts after hearing from yugioh 5D's recent episode about Surpassing or go beyond what you can do, so I made a theme of monsters are the essence of breaking their own limit in either ATk or effect but they need help from a "companion" to unrestrained the non-Riser Monster's ATK with their ATK in order to summon a Transcend monster, the Reason they will be from RFP section, they consider to be like D.D. monsters that breakthrough the law of physic or universe then come back as a totally different being. this will explain the each essential part of the rules i came up with this type of monster. 1: At the start of the duel, Transcend monsters are places in the removed from play pile face-down and cannot be moved the controller's deck and Extra Deck under any circumstances. you allow to have max of 10 Transcend Monsters 2: If a card effect targets a Transcend monster on the field or graveyard to return to the controller's Hand or deck, it is return to RFP pile face-down instead. Transcend Summon is treated as Special Summon, you need a Riser monster and a non-Riser monster you control in order to Special summon a Transcend monster with an ATK equal to the combined monsters' attack by sending from the field to the graveyard. 3: the Transcend monster's requirement may include specific type, attribute or card name as well but also will include -/+ATK regarding to Riser monster or non-Riser monster 4: requirement for Transcend Monsters are: "-/+X00 ATK", "-X00 or Higher, "+X00 ATK or lower" the new Terms for this ATK change called "Break X00 ATK" for effect and "ATK Break"is the Transcend Monster's amount in their requirement. "Break" for this rule meaning both breakthrough and hinder the rule of the ATK's synchronism of the Summoning and break the rule of original ATK. so whatever the Transcend monster gain or lost ATK will be treated as Original ATK so some card effects that targets the ATK/DEF gain/lost will not apply them like 'Reverse Trap" in the Seto Kaiba Starter Deck just for example, that card's effect target the ATK/DEF gain/lose to be reverse so it won't apply because the ATk gain will be treated as original ATK instead on the Field and in the Graveyard. 5: The ATK Break is a bonus flexibility before summoning a Transcend monster, if you have a Riser monster with 1000 ATK and a non-Riser monster with 1600 and the transcend monster you want to summon has 2400 ATK, the +X00 ATK or lower effect will increase the Transcend monster's ATK by the difference of the combined monsters’ ATKs and the transcend monster’s ATK, so 1000 ATK + 1600ATK – 2400 = +200 [Riser monster’s ATK + non-Riser monster’s ATK – Transcend monster’s ATK = Transcend monster’s new original ATK]. So there you have it, the Transcend monster’s original ATK is now 2600 ATK instead of 2400 after been transcend summoned that "Break" 200 ATK. This example is the most flexible that you will ever see, unlike "+X00 ATK" only in that text, it mean either Transcend Summon with monsters equal to Transcend monster’s original ATK or original ATK -/+ X00 ATK for newer original ATK but you will see some without +ATK as well. Same goes with –ATK as in subtracting the Transcend Monster's Original ATK, Transcend monsters with –ATK Riser requirement will tend to have higher ATK within their level and may be weaken a little but that’s ok, because Transcend monsters will have new effect regarding amount of ATK Break. 6: Now Transcend monster will have different effects that will be influenced by the ATK Break but some won’t have the effect if they have no -/+ATK in their requirement. This will show some example: “When this card is Transcend Summoned, If this card break +X00 ATK or lower/ -X00 ATK or higher, this card get the appropriate effect(s) *+X00:” The rest is up to you, when the ATK Break varies it is best to balance the Transcend monster's ATK and effects along with the ATK break, you can do something similar like this: “When this card is Transcend Summoned, If this card gained X00 ATK, this get appropriate effect(s): *+100: Discard 1 card from your hand, this card can attack twice in the same Battle Phase. *+300: The Battle Damage your opponent takes become halved.” Oh, on the note if if the Transcend monster was able to Break ATK that match the number for gain effects, they gather up, so if it break 100 ATK, it get the first effect, if it break 200 ATK, it only gain the 100 ATK effect cost there is not a 200 ATK( they don't do exactly +100 per each effect, there likely some gap for effects) if it break 300 ATK it gain the second effect. Now if you wondering how to balance and think how much of ATK gain or loss worth for effects henceforth, balancing the ATK/DEF, View the Examples of Transcend Monster so you will get the ideas . 7: Next are Riser Monster, they are the same as Tuner Monster but only regard in ATK combine with a non-Riser Monster, so the deck would have to balance with strong and weak monsters depending to the set of Transcend monsters were used. As for Riser Monster, there also effect that relate to Transcend monster's ATK Break, they can adjust the setting of ATK break like Tuner can for Synchro monster's level and of course and we'd never know if there be a dark version of Transcend Monster, well maybebut for a dark version of them it would have to relate in adjusting DEF then. Back to Riser, Other than the ATK break, they may have effect relating to RFP as well but compare to combining Level, it possible Combining ATK may be tougher especially when it come to Transcend monster without ATK Break but on the bright side, either their ATK or effect will worth it. Anyway here is the first 4 Transcend Monster, at the moment they are of no relation to each other as well Riser Monster they are different example that you get the idea of it. so Please CnC

1 -400 ATK or lower Riser + 1 or more non-Riser monsters When this card is Transcend Summoned, If this card break -400 ATK or lower, this get appropriate effect(s): *-300: When this card destroy a monster, Send the top card of your opponent's Deck equal to the Destroyed monster's level, *-400: For each card send to the Graveyard from your opponent's Deck, inflict 400 Damage to your opponent. CNo.101 S.H. Death Knight
Cards are good, pics even better but i couldn't fully understand their effect ... can U try making it more simple, the parts of the effect i DID understand were good but it s broken without the parts i DIDNT understand, Thats just my point of view, maybe I just cant understand the effect fully
well if it about the ATK break effect, i can tell each card is about but main point is the flexibility because it is actually bit hard to Transcend Summon monsters that with 3000 ATK and lower while 3000 ATK and higher are easy, the challange is to balance with the give and take. Chained Artillery Dragoon: you notice that this card is a level 6 with 2800 ATK beatstick, if you made it exactly 2800 ATK, all you get a monster with no additional effect, if you want to use this card in a chain monster deck along with Chained Dragon. etc. the challange is you have the opportunity to make it a bit weaker (which you would need to a Riser monster and another monster with mild ATK like 800 ATK + 1600 ATK or 1000 ATK + 1400 ATK to make it 2400 ATk instead of 2800 ATk, etc.) If you successfully make it weaker by require amount of ATK loss (know that it is treated as Original ATK after it is Summoned) if you has it lose 300 ATK it gain the first ability, if you have it lose 400 ATK it gain the first and second ability. you notice that it have a negative before the 400 ATK. so simply to say the higher amount of ATk it will lose, the greater the effects it will gains. Exitosus Warrior: now this card look a little balance but it is Uped by having 2300 ATK and it lvl 6, so this challenge is to make it a little stronger. so this one it allow you to make it stronger by 300 ATk or less but they will likely to have a little to a lot of drawbacks when it come to getting stronger. So if you make it become 2400 Beatstick with ability to dicard a card to attack twice but you make it 2600 ATk it will cut the damage in half for attacking directly plus getting 1 card, if you attack dirrectly once your opponent take 1300 Damage instead thus allowing you to draw 1 card, but for attacking twice would equal to 2600 complete damage and allow you to draw 2 cards (i'm thinking of removing this draw card part i was a little sleepy when i was doing this =_=). Neo-Teach Centaurus: now this card is a little stricter than the 2 cards above, however when this card is out and it doesn't have any change of the ATk, it still have an effect on the last 2 parts, the first effect is the additional effect if it met the requirement. so without the ATK break, this is a Level 8 with 2500 ATK beatstick with the effect of discarding 1 of the 2 specific Type of monster to just reduce the ATk of 1 monster your opponent control, this is 2-for-1, next effect is when this card attack, it can only temporarily prevent Spell and Trap card activation if this card is attacking the monster with ATK reduce by this card's effect (1-for-1). now for this card's requirement you can either have it without specific ATK break and it have those effect, or have it gain exactly 400 ATK with 1 more additional effect (that is 2900 ATk beatstick with all the effects), which is changing the battle position of 1 of your opponent monster so that is 0-for1, so it''s now 3-for-3 = 0. for the -X00 ATk break is the way as the +X00 ATk break, just in reverse. Tarov of the Cruelty: now this is even stricter, in order to summon this card, you must have 2 monster to equal the exact ATK of this card without ATK break if you want to use all the effects otherwise it's just lvl 7 with 2400 ATK. When you look at this card effects, you would normally think it's Oped and you are right if this was just effect monster with a 2 Tributes with no relation for ATK combine. imagine this you have to send 2 monsters to have exact ATk, first is like 800 ATK and it a Riser and the second is 1600 and it a non-Riser and summon this card without having any ATK Break, it look hard, but that why its effects are harder for your opponent to deal with. This card is a Monster Zone lockdown with a daily burn damage of 500 Damage each turn but if this card get destroy in any ways, you can tribute it 1 "Cruelty Token" to stay alive but it will give your opponent an opening space to summon afterward. Demi-Wise: A riser monster that allow you to pay 500 to check for any amount of traps in the opponent's hand, this card explained that for each trap card revealed, and this card will be use for Transcend Summon, like if you use this for Exitosus Warrior, that monster have +300 ATK break, for each trap it will gain 100 ATK break, so it be 400 or 500 instead of 300, so Demi-Wise have the ability to widen the flexiblity of the ATk break further, so Exitosus Warrior's ATK can be 2300 ATK or 2700-2800 ATK or lower instead of 2600 ATK or lower. Light Bend in the Dark: This one describe pretty well, if the requirement met well, so like Neo-Tech Centaurus, it have 400 ATK break, so it said for each 100 ATk break that Neo-Tech Centaurus have, your opponent must either discard a card or reveal a set Card then return the revealed card face-down, this repeat 4 time since Neo-Tech have 400 ATk break. Ticknician Beetle: this card doesn't have much to talk about, it not relate to ATk break or so, it just relate to the Summoning a Transcend Monster. Warring Suit: this one, a balance risker, so you have to be lucky to get the right balance of ATK to summon a Transcend monster you want, but it's ATk is a safe bet for now till you risk it. surely it get ATK bonus but still.
