Excess Community Brawl is over, but I just felt like doing this, as I was starting to take a liking to Excess Monsters. Once per turn, you can pay 500 Life Points to place 1 Voc01 Counter on this card. You can remove 1 Voc01 Counter from this card to remove from play 1 Overlay Unit on this card, and inflict damage to your opponent equal to the removed monster's original ATK.[/spoiler] [spoiler='Vocaloid - 02 Kagamine Len & Rin/Black Rock Shooters'] [img]http://img716.imageshack.us/img716/2594/188800.jpg[/img] Lore: This card can only be Exceed Summoned with 2 Level 4 Overlay Units. RedRecker Posted February 1, 2011 Report Share Posted February 1, 2011 What is Excess Summoned? How does it work? Also not sure what the 'Overlay Units' part means. Regardless, I like these cards. As an English student, it is tempting to be really picky with regards to punctuation and capitalisation but I'll spare you from that rather annoying side of me. I was going to suggest a way to reword the last sentence of your second card but on having a second look I decided it was fine as it was. So, all I've really got to say are those few questions at the moment. I'll be sure to check back some time and see what else you've made. I'm reading Miku, and it seems that she doesn't gain more counters than the one she gets when she is Summoned. Though, I could say how easy it is to Summon her, but there'd be no point to it, because it's like saying how easy it is to Summon any Exceed Monster. She can inflict some good burn damage, but pretty much it, and with her ATK, plus the amount of protection she has from the Overlaid monsters [size="1"](but seeing how BRS Rin and Len's effect are, I don't think that you know that Exceed gain protection from the Overlaid monsters already, or maybe I'm wrong)[/size], she seems pretty powerful. And the art seems pretty lovely. And I'm pretty sure if you used 2 Level 4 beatsticks for this card's Summon, like Chainsaw Insect, you can inflict a load of damage to your opponent. [/quote] Don't think we're on the same page. If my knowledge of exceed summoning is correct, isn't using 2 Level 4 Overlay Units the only way to summon it? If so, that's why I made that particular Summoning condition for 2 Level 4s. Shizuku Oikawa Posted February 7, 2011 Report Share Posted February 7, 2011 Again, if Luka used 2 beatstick Level 4 monsters, she can easily just abuse her effect and decrease of your opponent's monsters ATK by 2000 ATK or so. And can inflict pretty good battle damage, though, it would be awesome if you manage to bring in 4 Level Beatsticks, then use Mischief of the Yokai to make them Level 2, making Luka so powerful, it wouldn't be funny. The art looks very pretty, as it has close to full body picture, a nice pose and the art style makes it look nice. Though that is pretty much me commenting the artwork of someone else, lol.
