Spiders

So I was driving home the other night, when two spiders started crawling up my windshield...the underside of my windshield. It was very nerve-wracking because traffic was heavy, and I could not pull over to kill them before they disappeared.

I was pretty sure they were going to swing down on their webs and kill me.

They didn't, by the way.

Discuss scary moments with spiders or bugs.

Brown recluse dropped down from the ceiling and landed on my hand. I thought it was a sudden nasty itch so I flicked my hand and proceeded to scratch it. I then heard a *THUMP* on the nearby stereo.

Holy crap, I would've destroyed that thing as fast as possible if I saw it.

By the way, I do think spiders are cool. Just not when I think they're gonna kill me.

That's generally what I think of most animals...cool until they try to kill you.

I don't remember much of my childhood, but this I'll never forget. When I was four/five, my dad's parent came to visit us (they live out of state). My favorite artist when I was that age was Kid Rock. They recorded a performance of his and my dad and his dad was setting it up. I was sitting on the couch with my mom. I looked down and saw this huge spider crawling up my shirt. It scared the piss out of me. It got away though before we could kill it.

Spiders and I don't see eye to eye.[/badjoke]

I am dissapointed, when a situation like this occurs you just lean forward and bite them in half

when I go camping every year at this place with tents there there are like 50 spiders in there at all times

I freak out when I see a spider, I always have.

Just like when I was 4 and was playing in my sandbox and a black widow dropped down in front of me, and I was...well....

"AHHHH BL-BLACK WIDOW, MOMMY HELP*running up my stairs frantically* Mommy I saw a black widow in the sandbox!"

....I never went in that sandbox again.

Oh god. I remember accidentally eating some bugs in old cereal... twice. They're disgusting DX (taste-wise and looks)

A couple of months ago, I turned on my faucet and a huge earwig crawled up my arm from the sink hole...
Needless to say, my sleeping family was not amused by my girlish squeals.

A bee once landed on a sandwhich i was about to eat my lips touched it and I backed off and it flew away ive been at war with bees ever since...

Bees are okay with me. We have an agreement that they will stay in the bush and away from me and I'll stay away from them. I used to be scared of them, but not anymore. They're harmless basically, just stay away from them.

Always loved them yet in recent years have become scared of them. I blame increased paranoia and a nasty white-tail bite on my chest from a trip to Australia. White-tails are absolute wankers. It started off like a bad mosquito bite, but it swelled up and itched whilst secreting a foul-smelling gelatinous liquid.

In short, not the best moment of my trip.
