Βyakuya
So basically at first protesters fight to force President Mubarak to resign from a presidency which was unpleasant. Other anti-resignation protesters fought, using rocks, sticks, firebombs and Molotov cocktails to fight off. The military promised not to open fire, but to occupy. Discuss. Βyakuya
Wouldn't assassination cause more problems?
Renzoku Kira-
Its going to come down to assassination since he says he wants to leave office, but if he does Egypt will be destroyed. You know since that is not happening now. Civil War could be the answer, but those people are crazy they held ABC reporters captive. Egypt will go into a deep turmoil, but most of the middle east has lost its mind this year.
GenzoTheHarpist
This is great. Don't back down just because of Molotov cocktails... Mubarak is getting desperate.

If he is assassinated, more violence will occur. This could lead to more involvement in foreign affairs.
I-dreezyAFG
@ byakuya: most people in egypt and beyond want him gone. if he is killed, a new president will have to get chosen -if muslim it will be better- and everything will be better. unless something happens... Sure it will balance out a little, but trouble can increase by assassination. Besides, Mubarak will eventually resign.
Renzoku Kira-
He better do it fast or those rioters will break into that building. His officers might have plenty of guns, but will they actually kill 100k people to save that man.

Βyakuya
Well I may have gone far on that but it is kind of a war with this weapon use and fighting, and it is civil so it's a "civil war".

Darth Revan of the Sith
Although I agree that Mubaraks reign should end I dont like how the protesters will switch Mubaraks government with that of the Muslim Brotherhood...
