Heavy Mech Games.

I am an avid video games player, and is always searching for interesting and fun games. But there is one genre that I have a special interest in.

Heavy Mech Combat games.

Now, when it comes to Mechs, I'm very specific. Have you seen Code Geass or Gundam? You know those Mechs? Yea, the ones that move fast, sometimes can fly, and basically look like humans made of metal, with a few differences. They are fast, agile, and flexible. This is NOT the type of Mech combat I enjoy the most.

I prefer this. Giant, slow moving mechs. Non-humanoid shaped. They tromp through the battlefield with massive weapons, taking down anyone in their way. They are agile to a degree, but not nearly as agile as the previously mentioned mechs. They could easily be the size of a 3 Story building, no arms or fingers (Well, maybe arms), and just weapons. When moving, they go pretty slow, although fast when compared to someone on foot. This is the type of Mech game I like. Have you ever heard of Mech Assault? Chrome Hounds? Those are prime examples of mech games I enjoyed immensely. Does anyone here have or know about any other games in this category?

@DSS

Yea, like that.

@Horrific

I'll look it up.

Looked it up. Kinda like that, but not exactly. The style could be different. Also, Gamespot gave it a 5/10.

Doesn't sound to good.

Which one did you look up...

I checked. Which version are you referring to? Because all the ones I saw were very agile, jumping around and flying, and rolling around on roller things like in Code Geass, and they had hands, fingers, and flexible arms.

Red equals violation of the style I enjoy. Thanks for trying, though. I appreciate it.

You mean this? xD

Jk. Anyway, I saw it. It looks good, although the FP Perspective was unappealing, and it seemed slow.

I guess I just will have to wait for a sequel to Chrome Hounds...Thanks again.
