Glоrious
During a player's Standby Phase, the turn player selects 1 monster they control and returns it to the owner's hand. If the selected monster is a LIGHT or DARK monster, you can add this card to your hand.
War Chess
I think you meant "During either player's Standby Phase". Anyway, seems cool, but why would someone return a monster they control to the owner's hand ? And why would return the card either ? 7/10 ^Because of confusion and lack of utility. Glоrious
Either is used when an effect applies to both players. In this case, this effect emphasizes to individual turns. The effect isn't optional, so the turn player MUST select and return a monster they control to their hand. Since this effect applies only during the Standby Phase, if your opponent uses DARK/LIGHT based Deck, you can return this card to your hand if they selected such a monster. That way, you don't need to return a monster to your hand, and play the card again. If your opponent doesn't have any monsters, you don't need to play it. It basically controls your opponent's monsters. Its especially effective against Nomi, Fusion, and Synchro monsters.
